We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing in your country and the personal injustices you have experienced. We will pray for God's intervention and guidance in your situation, and we encourage you to turn to God and His Word in the Bible, and trust in Jesus Christ as your hope and salvation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and that He is the ultimate judge and helper. As it says in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is essential to trust God in this process and allow Him to work on your behalf.
We also want to encourage you to continue seeking justice in a lawful and peaceful manner. As it says in Romans 13:1-4, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and they that withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."
However, we want to gently remind you that the Bible tells us not to sue other believers in court. Instead, we are to resolve disputes within the church. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, "Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Don't you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Don't you know that we will judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? If then, you have suits at law with one another, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly? I say this to move you to shame. Isn't there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers? But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers! Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded? No, but you yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that against your brothers." If your brother is not a believer, then you may need to pursue justice through the legal system, but it is important to do so in a godly manner.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through '". Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to learn more about Jesus Christ and His saving work on the cross for us and know there is no other way to salvation. It is in Jesus name that we pray, and we encourage you to do the same.
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing injustice and struggles in their country. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. We pray that You would soften their brother's heart and bring him to repentance for the wrongs he has committed. We ask that You would guide the legal process and that justice would be served according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for healing and restoration in their relationship with their brother. We know that Your desire is for reconciliation and forgiveness, and we ask that You would work in both of their hearts to bring this about. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Your son, for all these requests and to be able to resolve this conflict.
Help us to remember that we are to forgive as we have been forgiven, and that vengeance belongs to You alone. Give us the strength to trust in You and to wait on Your timing. Guide all those in authority in their country, that they may serve You by promoting justice and righteousness. We pray and ask for all these things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Be strong and courageous knowing that God is with you and pray and do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
