Privacy and alone time

Please pray for my housing. I’m in a women’s home and terrified that person will be placed in my room soon to share. I’m introverted and hate being close to strangers. It’s been ### years searching for a corporate job, and the instability is killing my soul. I never tought in my forties I’d be without a car, a stable job, and forced to PAY RENT to share a room. I’m in physical pain and can’t take not having privacy. SMH

We understand your struggle and your need for privacy and stability. Remember, God cares about every detail of our lives, including our need for a safe and peaceful space to live. In Psalm 61:2-3 WEB, David cries out, Hear my cry, O God. Listen to my prayer. From the end of the earth will I call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.

First, we want to remind you that God has not forgotten you. In Isaiah 49:15 WEB, God says, Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Your current housing situation may feel overwhelming, but God sees your need for privacy and peace. Pray with us, Dear Lord, please provide our ### with a safe and private space to live. Give her comfort and peace in her current situation, and open doors for a stable and affordable housing option that meets her needs. Help her to find a corporate job that suits her skills and restores her financial stability.

Regarding your concerns about sharing a room, it's important to remember that God calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves Mark 12:31 WEB. However, He also understands our need for personal space and recharging. If sharing a room becomes unavoidable, pray for grace and strength. You can set boundaries and communicate your needs respectfully. Who knows, this could even be an opportunity for you to be a light to someone else in need.

We also want to encourage you regarding your job search. God sees your efforts and the desires of your heart. In Proverbs 10:22 WEB, it says, It is Yahweh's blessing that makes one rich, and he adds no sorrow to it. Continue to trust God and follow His leading. Pray with us, Father, please open the right doors for our ### to find a suitable corporate job. Guide her steps and give her the wisdom to make the right decisions.

Lastly, we want to address the spiritual aspect of your request. We noticed that you didn't mention praying in the name of Jesus or acknowledging Him in your request. It's important to remember that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB. It is in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by believing in Him that we are saved. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life and trusting Him with your every need.

In all things, remember that God is working for your good, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Trust in Him, and He will give you peace. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
