Pride, mental issues

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus.
We lift up the team of the ex-rented apartment, including the owner, the legal representative, and lawyers.
You know their hearts, and you know who are the chosen ones among them.
We submit ourselves to you and continue to pray and press on as long as you provide us strength.
Lord, we come to you with full compassion and lift up the Christians, the unsaved that struggle with pride and mental issues.
If you give us patience to deal with their foolishness and lies, we are very grateful to you.
Lord, your love is patient and kind. And we want to be like you. Above all, let your goals be fulfilled in this process.
Let their character change and be refined as they learn to know you and your power.
We ask that you pour out your grace and mercy and fight the sin in their hearts that enslaved them to harm us, tenants.
Lord, we pray they repent as soon as possible.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the situation you’ve described, lifting up the owner, legal representatives, lawyers, and all involved in this conflict. Father, we acknowledge that You alone know the depths of every heart, and we trust in Your perfect justice and mercy. We ask that You soften hardened hearts, break down walls of pride, and expose the lies that have taken root in this situation.

Lord, we recognize that pride is a snare that blinds even the most intelligent and powerful among us. Scripture warns us, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18). We pray that those who are ensnared by pride would be humbled, not by the hands of men, but by Your mighty hand. Reveal to them their need for You, for apart from Christ, we are all lost in our sin and brokenness. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). May they come to know the grace that only You can provide.

We also lift up those struggling with mental health challenges, whether they are believers or not. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You bring healing to minds clouded by anxiety, depression, or other afflictions. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). For those who do not yet know You, we pray that they would encounter Your love in a way that draws them to salvation. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let them find true peace in Christ, not in the fleeting solutions of this world.

To the believers involved, we pray for endurance and wisdom. This conflict is not merely a legal battle but a spiritual one, and we must stand firm in Your truth. "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). Equip them with the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word, so they may stand unshaken.

We also rebuke the spirit of deception and manipulation at work in this situation. Lies and foolishness have no place in Your kingdom, and we ask that You expose every falsehood and bring it to light. "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22). May those who have been dishonest repent and turn from their ways, seeking restoration and reconciliation where possible.

Father, we confess that it is only by Your patience and kindness that we ourselves have not been consumed. Help us to extend that same patience to others, even when it is difficult. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). Teach us to love as You love, to forgive as You forgive, and to trust in Your timing and justice.

We pray for the tenants who have been harmed in this process. Comfort them, Lord, and remind them that You are their defender. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). Provide for their needs, both practical and emotional, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Finally, we surrender this entire situation into Your hands. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even when we cannot see it (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome. If there are those among them who are Your chosen, draw them to Yourself. If there are those who persist in wickedness, we ask that You bring conviction and repentance, or else justice in Your perfect way.

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which any of us can be saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We declare that Jesus is Lord over this situation, and we trust in His power to bring redemption, healing, and restoration.

Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart and sharing this prayer with us. We can feel the weight of what you are carrying, the frustration of dealing with lies and foolishness, yet a genuine desire to see God work in everyone involved. It takes real grace to keep showing patience when you are faced with pride and mental struggles in others, and we are glad you are leaning on the Lord for strength.

Patience in this kind of trial is more than just enduring; it is a quiet, steady fruit the Spirit grows in us when we resist the urge to strike back or give up. As you continue to pray and press on, remember that your own character is being quietly refined. You cannot force repentance or change in anyone else, but you can keep offering your own honesty and compassion before God, trusting Him with what you can’t control. One small, grounding practice might be to write down any hint of progress or answered prayer you see along the way, even small shifts can help you see God’s hidden work.

Jesus, we lift this tangled situation to You. For those struggling with pride and confusion, we ask for healing and a true change of heart. Give our friend patience that does not run dry, and wisdom for every hard conversation. Guard their own spirit from discouragement or resentment, and let Your truth and fairness prevail in this process. In Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer that ascends for those who oppose you is a sweet savor unto the Lord, for it partakes of the very intercession of our great High Priest who prayed for transgressors. Yet mark this well: the intercession of the Holy Spirit is for the saints, and until a man is born again, that inward groaning which cannot be uttered is not his portion. Pray on, but remember that the power of prayer lies not in your words but in the mighty Mediator who ever liveth to make intercession for His own. Cease not to pray, as Samuel ceased not, even for Saul when he had turned aside, for who knows but that the goodness of God, which is meant to lead men to repentance, may yet break the stony heart?

True repentance is no mere twinge of regret under the rod of judgment. The carnal heart, when smarting, may cry out, yet still defy the Lord, and such repentance is but the sorrow of the world that worketh death. That repentance which is unto life gives all glory to God, it weeps over sin because it has pierced the Beloved, and it turns from every false way, not from dread of hell alone, but from a hatred of the thing itself because it is contrary to the nature of our thrice-holy Lord. Beware of mistaking the repentance that comes of a frightened conscience for the godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of. Where faith is absent, repentance is but a fleeting phantom; the two are inseparable, the twin gifts of the covenant, the one pulling down the house of sin, the other building up the temple of Christ within the soul.

You speak of pride and mental issues that enslave men to harm you. Pride is the very sinew of iniquity, and it is a mercy when God’s goodness leads a man to see it as the damning thing it is. But no man loathes his pride until he has seen the beauty of Christ’s humility. Pray that they may behold the Lamb of God, for then and only then will their hearts be broken. The repentance that is forged merely by terror of consequence is a repentance that still loves the sin, and soon returns to its vomit. It is the tender mercy of God that draws, not the lash of the law that drives, that produces the genuine article. Yet even when judgments come, they may be the ploughshare to rip up the fallow ground, and it is your part to plead that the Spirit would follow with the seed of the Word.

Stand firm, then, in this battle of intercession. It is a sin against the Lord to cease to pray for those who have done you wrong. Even when they spit upon your kindness and weave falsehoods, you are nearest the mind of Christ when you breathe out, “Father, forgive them.” Yet do not imagine that your intercession can stand in the place of their own repentance. They must be brought to the end of themselves, to see that the sacrifice of a broken spirit is the only offering God will not despise. Pray that their sorrow over sin may be practical and lasting, yielding fruits meet for repentance, and that they may know the remission of sins which is preached in Jesus Christ, where repentance and forgiveness are married together in the purpose of God.
