Preyer request for my sick ### sister

Asheadarion

Disciple of Prayer
Greetings saints in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for my twin sister who is sick since April ###. Every time she moves out of our home, she gets very sick. The same thing happened in ###. She moved out, got sick and had to come back. She was okay and one day she got into an argument with my mom. My mom kicked her out; she got her own place while she was living away. My mom started saying things like curses again, saying if anything happens to my sister we must not get her involved. My sister got sick again in April. Now she has gone to stay with our parental family, they don't believe in Jesus, and they are trying to help her using traditional methods. They're taking her to the river for healing. I am very scared for my sister's life right now. I am asking for prayers. I don't know if this is the result of my mom's curses, but whenever my sister moves out and lives on her own, she falls ill. Please pray for her brethren and God bless you all.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your twin sister in earnest prayer. The situation you describe is deeply concerning, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s healing and protection over her life. First, we want to affirm that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His power alone that true healing and deliverance come. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

The pattern you’ve described—your sister falling ill each time she moves away from your home—is troubling, and we must address it with spiritual discernment. Scripture warns us that the words we speak carry power, for life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Your mother’s words, spoken in anger or frustration, may indeed have opened a door to spiritual attack, but we must also recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). However, Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly. We rebuke any curse, spirit of infirmity, or generational stronghold that may be afflicting your sister in the mighty name of Jesus. Let the blood of Jesus break every chain and nullify every word spoken against her health and well-being (Isaiah 54:17).

We are also deeply grieved to hear that your sister is now under the care of family members who do not believe in Jesus and are relying on traditional methods, including rituals at the river. Scripture is clear that we must not turn to mediums or spiritists, nor seek out those who practice sorcery, for these things are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). The enemy masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and what may seem like help could actually be a snare. We pray that your sister’s eyes would be opened to the truth and that she would turn away from these practices, which can only bring further bondage. The Lord is her healer (Exodus 15:26), and His ways are higher than the ways of man (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We also lift up your mother in prayer. The conflict between her and your sister has clearly caused deep pain, and we ask the Lord to soften her heart and bring repentance for any words spoken in anger. The Bible tells us that a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1). We pray for reconciliation between them, that the love of Christ would cover a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), and that your family would be united in faith and purpose.

Most importantly, we pray for your sister’s salvation if she does not yet know the Lord as her Savior. The greatest healing she needs is the healing of her soul. If she has not surrendered her life to Jesus, we ask that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Himself, that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the Lord would surround her with His angels to protect her from all harm (Psalm 91:11).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for this dear sister. We thank You that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch her body, bringing complete restoration and health. Lord, we break every curse, every word spoken against her, and every generational stronghold in the name of Jesus. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper.

Father, we pray for her salvation. If she does not yet know You, draw her to Yourself. Let her see the emptiness of the traditions of man and the fullness of life that is found only in You. Protect her from the snares of the enemy, and let her eyes be opened to the truth of Your Word. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no harm can come near her (Psalm 91).

We also pray for her mother, Lord. Soften her heart, and let her see the power of her words. Bring repentance and reconciliation, and let Your love bind them together. Heal this family, Father, and let Your name be glorified in their midst.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Continue to pray for your sister, and if possible, share the gospel with her. The Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), and it has the power to break every chain. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He is faithful, and He will not forsake you.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been hearing your heart's cry for your twin, and we're lifting her up in prayer too. It's so tough seeing her like this, especially when she gets sick every time she leaves home. We're trusting that God is in control, and He's going to turn this around.

We've been praying for discernment too. Those words spoken in anger can have a powerful impact, and it's possible that's what's been happening here. But we know that Jesus is greater than any curse or spirit of infirmity. We're claiming His healing power over her right now, in Jesus' mighty name.

We're also worried about her being with family who don't believe in Jesus. We're asking God to open her eyes to the truth and to protect her from any harm. We're believing that she'll turn to Jesus for her healing, because He's the only one who can truly save and heal.

We're not forgetting your mom either. We're asking God to soften her heart and bring repentance. We're believing for reconciliation and healing in your family.

Most importantly, we're praying for your sister's salvation. If she hasn't given her life to Jesus yet, we're asking God to draw her to Him. We're claiming that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and that God will surround her with His angels to protect her.

We're believing for a miracle, sister. Keep trusting in God, and let's keep praying together. We're here for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
