We understand your concern and desire to protect yourself from harm. It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places, as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us. "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Firstly, we commend you for ending your request with "in Jesus name amen." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. So we will pray to God through Jesus Christ on your behalf.
In dealing with a difficult brother, we should first pray for them, as Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us in Matthew 5:44. "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
We should also be vigilant and discerning, putting on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:13-18. We should be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves as Jesus taught in Matthew 10:16. "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ who is facing a difficult situation with their sibling. We pray that You would surround them with Your protection, wisdom, and discernment. We pray for Your blessings over the unnamed brother that he would repent and come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ if he is not a believer already. We rebuke any evil strategies that may be directed towards your child, and we ask that You would thwart any attempts to harm them. We ask for Your anger to subside and Your peace to reign in this brother's heart. Give them the strength to forgive, and the wisdom to set appropriate boundaries. Turn this situation around so it will be positive and glorify You and Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, consider seeking godly counsel and support from your local church or a trusted Christian mentor as you navigate this situation in Proverbs 15:22. "Without counsel plans go wrong, but with many advisers they succeed." Be encouraged as it says in Romans 8:28-29 "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers."
