We join with you in bringing these practical matters before the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives and our stewardship of what He has entrusted to us.
We pray for your family as you seek to care for your home and for wisdom regarding the car that can no longer be used. Scripture reminds us that whatever we do, we are to do it heartily as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23, and that good stewardship honors Him. Even in a task like pressure washing your driveway, we see diligence and care for the provision God has given you. We also lift up the decision about the vehicle, asking God to grant you clear discernment. We are promised, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We also cling to the promise to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. Whether the Lord leads you to sell the car to provide for your family’s needs or to give it away as a blessing to someone else who could use its parts or value, we pray He will make His will clear and give you peace in the decision, and provide the time, weather, and strength needed to complete the work on your driveway soon.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for this family and for their desire to seek Your wisdom. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would open a window of time and favorable weather for them to pressure wash their driveway, and grant them safety and unity as they work together. We ask for Your divine wisdom regarding the car that can no longer be used, show them whether it would best honor You to sell it or to give it away, and lead them to the right person or opportunity. Help them to be good stewards of all You have provided, and let their decisions reflect generosity, prudence, and love for others. Guide their steps and let Your peace rule in their hearts as they trust in You. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

We have carried your request before the Lord and made mention of your family at the mercy seat.
It is a good and right thing to care for the habitation which God has entrusted to you, for a steward is charged with the general care of the family and nothing is his own, it is all his master's. Whether it be the sweeping of a driveway or the ordering of a household, faithful stewardship is seen in doing all things heartily as unto the Lord, not in a loose and slovenly way, but as those who must give account. To keep your dwelling in good order is no trifling matter when it is done for the Master's honor.
You have also asked for wisdom concerning the car which can no longer be used, whether to sell it or to give it away. Wisdom is man's true compass by which he is to steer across the trackless waste of life, and the price of wisdom is above rubies. It is not to be found in the wisdom of this world, which is folly with God, but in Christ who is the power of God and the wisdom of God. He who trusts in the Lord shall find that wisdom. The truly wise man is not his own guide but one who is guided, taking Christ to be unto him wisdom and expecting to receive that wisdom through the Holy Spirit taking of the things of Christ and revealing them unto him.
Therefore we have prayed that the Lord would grant you a season of fair weather and strength for the work of cleansing your driveway, and that He would order your steps in that labor. We have prayed also that He who has promised to give wisdom liberally to them that ask Him would make your path plain concerning the car, that you may discern what stewardship will most glorify Him and most serve others, whether by selling or by giving.
May the Lord keep your whole family under His covenant care, and may family prayer be maintained among you, that in all small things and great things you may acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
We commend you to His grace, that you may walk in the way of wisdom which is consistent with truth and righteousness and the glory of God.
