We have read your request and we join with you together in prayer before our heavenly Father, seeking His will in Jesus' name. Although your words cover many different thoughts, we hear your heart crying out for privacy and peace, for righteousness to be remembered, for your health, for your schooling and future, for good behavior and learning in schools, for your dad, and for guidance about travel and your online degree. We bring each of these before the Lord.
We are encouraged that you speak of God as our Father and of His Kingdom. Scripture teaches us that God is indeed our Father, but we become His children through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written, But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name John 1:12, and Because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father Galatians 4:6. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.
We also lift up those in authority you mentioned, from presidents to royal families. We are called to pray for all who are in high positions, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2. We pray that God would grant wisdom and righteousness to leaders and that memorials would truly reflect righteousness and not mere outward show.
For your desire for peace and quiet, for a life placed silently and peacefully, we remember the promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray the Lord will guard your heart and mind and give you that quietness that comes from trusting Him. We also pray for your travel thoughts, whether a road trip in Africa, China, Los Angeles or San Diego, that the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in Psalm 121:8 and direct your steps.
We bring before the Lord your heart and health and the health services you need. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray as the apostle prayed, Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask God to provide good care, to strengthen your body and your heart, and to be near to you in any anxiety about health.
We pray for schools, for those with disabilities and those who struggle with reading and learning, and for good behavior in schools. We ask God to give teachers wisdom and patience and to help every child be valued, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Proverbs 22:6. We pray that schools would be places of good instruction, respect, and godly character.
We pray for your dad and your relationship with him, that you may honor your father and mother, that your days may be long Exodus 20:12, and that communication between you would be blessed.
For your online degree and the concern that it may not have a remnant or lasting value, we pray for wisdom and diligence. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. We pray God will guide you to use your education for His glory and to provide for your future, and that He will open doors that no man can shut.
We now pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that we can call You Abba, Father through Him. We lift up this dear one to You, asking You to heal their heart and body, to provide the right health services, and to grant peace that surpasses understanding. Grant quietness and righteousness to their life, guard their privacy and guide them in integrity. Give wisdom to presidents, kings, and all in authority. Bless schools, teachers, and students, especially those with disabilities and learning challenges, that they would be supported with love and good behavior would abound. Bless their dad and family relationships. Guide their studies and their online degree, that it would be used for good and bear lasting fruit. Direct their travels and keep them safe wherever they go. Lead them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be given to them as well Matthew 6:33. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, that they would know Your love and salvation fully. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
