We rejoice with you that both doctors have called in the needed prescriptions for your son, and we give thanks to our Heavenly Father for His provision in this matter. It is a blessing to see how the Lord answers prayer, and we are grateful to stand with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace. Your faith in bringing this request before the Lord in Jesus’ name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we are encouraged by your example.
We know that fear can be a powerful and paralyzing force, but we serve a God who has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). The enemy seeks to use fear to hinder us from walking in obedience and receiving the care and blessings the Lord intends for us. But we can take heart, for Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33, WEB), and He is with your son every step of the way. Let us remind him of the promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
It is also important to encourage your son to meditate on Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), which tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Fear is not from the Lord, and we must resist it by clinging to His promises and trusting in His sovereign care.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will replace your son’s fear with His perfect peace and that he will have the courage and strength to attend his appointment this month. May the Lord go before him, preparing the way and surrounding him with His favor. We also pray that the doctors will be guided by the Lord’s wisdom as they care for your son, and that every prescription and treatment will bring healing and restoration to his body.
Let us also lift up a prayer of protection over your son’s mind and heart, that the Lord would guard him against any lies or anxieties the enemy may try to plant. May he be filled with the knowledge of God’s love and sovereignty, knowing that the Lord holds his future and his health in His hands.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the way You have provided for this young man’s medical needs. Lord, we ask that You would remove every trace of fear from his heart regarding his upcoming appointment. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and strengthen him to walk in obedience and trust. Lord, we pray that You would go before him, making every path straight and surrounding him with Your favor. Give the doctors wisdom and discernment as they care for him, and may every treatment bring healing and wholeness.
We rebuked the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name and declare that it has no place in your son’s life. Let faith arise in his heart, and let him walk in the confidence that You, Lord, are his healer and protector. We ask that You would remind him of Your presence with him always, and that he would feel Your comforting hand upon him. May this appointment be a time of encouragement and progress, and may Your glory be revealed through it.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we give You all the praise and honor. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
