Pregnancy

Me and my fiancée are having a pregnancy scare we are not ready for this. We want a child very much but we'd like it to be a happy thing and right now it wouldn't be. We want to be financially stable for a child but we aren't yet. I don't want her to have to go trough that yet. Please pray that she isn't and that we can can hold off on that kind of stuff for a long time until its right. Please we need prayers very desperately.

Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth - Psalm 54:2

Be encouraged that when you lift up your prayers, God is already there, waiting to hear your requests. A Psalm says, "But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life" (Psalm 42:8, NLT). He directs His love towards us and we are praying to the God who gives life. Look beyond the circumstances and see who is waiting to respond. Realize that He is pouring out His unfailing love in the situation. Expect to see His loving response.

All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

1 Corinthians 10:13… No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.



Let’s Pray…God I ask in Jesus name forgive us; my fiancée and I for not waiting until we are married to live as husband and wife. Give us both the strength and the desire to wait until we are married to have sex. Let the lifestyle we live be pleasing unto You God.



But in the mean time I am asking that You Lord Jesus will wait until we are married to bless us with children. And bless us with the strength, the desire, and the gift to be single until our wedding night. I ask all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen….

Dear ChefJoe, Thank you for your posting. A child is truly a gift from God. There cannot be a "right" time to choose when to bring a child into this world as that is under God's jurisdiction as He makes such conception possible. If by saying you want it to be the right time for the child to be born you mean when you are married, then yes, that would be the most appropriate time if you are not currently. However, and again, when God allows one to conceive there should be no further thoughts or questions about not wanting the baby or God forbid doing away with it.

If you feel that you are not ready financially for the baby, then if God, by His most Holy will is giving you the extreme privilege of granting a child to come into the world and be in your life then He too will help you sustain it as He already knows what you would be going through and how to solve that situation. What you might do in the meantime if she is indeed pregnant is to pray for God's will to be done in this case. You have no idea how many people in the world today would like to have a child but cannot. What they would give to be able to become pregnant and raise and love a child by whatever means possible but again they may not be able to produce one for various medical reasons. Consider yourselves Most Blessed if God gives you a child at this time. You list your status as "married", so perhaps you are married which is always the ideal and an added plus in these situations.

It is my hope and prayer that God will move unto you both with His answer to this situation and that you will honor all life if the baby comes to term. Amen.
