1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body."Wow. I take this seriously and I am highly offended. Not only am I offended but you have me questioning my salvation. I was saved and baptized five years ago but haven't seen this grand change in my life like everybody talks about. I don't expect a pat on my back because of this situation but this was a hard blow. Your response doesn't reflect Galatians 6:1
A part of being a Christian is to communicate the truth and not to excuse somebody's behavior. The problem is that some people do not want to hear the truth. They pretend that everything is ok and you are doing the same. The majority of alcoholics or drug addicts deny that they have a problem. In fact, I know a few people who practice such lifestyle and claim to be saved, when in reality they are not. I do not want your blood on my hands when you end up in hell because I was too afraid to say something. I am communicating the truth and you can either listen to it and apply in your life or continue living like this. I wish you could have heard the message our Pastor delivered not a long time ago. He said it clearly that those people who are truly saved will reflect their salvation in their lives. In particular, those who practice sexual immorality should question their salvation. Why? I am including a little article and maybe it will get through to you. A body of a Christian is the temple of the Holy Spirit and having sex outside of marriage corrupts people on a different level. This is why you do not hear God. So I agree with my Pastor that people who practice sexual immorality cannot expect for the Holy Spirit to dwell in that body of theirs.
