We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where a family business, something that should be a blessing, has become entangled in misunderstanding, ignorance, and distrust. Father, we know that where there is division, You desire unity, and where there is confusion, You bring clarity. We declare that no weapon formed against this endeavor shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You break every chain of strife and suspicion that has taken root in this business.
First, we must address the spiritual foundation of this matter. The Bible tells us, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Have those involved sought You first in this business, or have they relied solely on their own wisdom and strength? We pray that each person would humble themselves before You, repent of any pride, selfish ambition, or unforgiveness that may be hindering progress. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Father, pour out Your wisdom upon them so they may see clearly and act justly.
Misunderstanding often stems from poor communication, and ignorance from a refusal to seek truth. We rebuke the spirit of confusion and deception that has clouded this situation. "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33). We pray that each partner would be willing to listen, not just to one another, but to Your Holy Spirit. Let there be open hearts to hear truth, even if it is uncomfortable. If there has been dishonesty or hidden agendas, expose them, Lord, so that righteousness may prevail.
Distrust is a poison that destroys relationships and businesses alike. But You, Lord, are the God of restoration. "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). We pray that love would cover this multitude of offenses (1 Peter 4:8). If there has been betrayal, let forgiveness flow. If there has been negligence, let responsibility be taken. If there has been greed, let generosity rise. Father, soften hardened hearts and replace suspicion with trust.
We also must consider whether this business aligns with Your will. Are the motives pure? Is it honoring to You? "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). If this venture is meant to succeed, we ask that You remove every obstacle. If it is not Your will, we pray for the courage to walk away with peace. Either way, let Your name be glorified.
Lord, we stand in the gap for this family and this business. We declare that the enemy has no foothold here. "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn" (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of division, strife, and financial sabotage in Jesus’ name. We loose unity, clarity, and divine favor over this situation. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray that each person involved would seek You first, not just for the success of the business, but for their own souls. If any have not surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray they would do so today. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Salvation is the greatest gift, and without Christ, all other pursuits are in vain.
Father, we ask that You would raise up godly counsel for this family, men and women of integrity who can speak truth in love. Let there be reconciliation where there has been division, understanding where there has been ignorance, and trust where there has been suspicion. May this business not only prosper financially but also be a testimony to Your faithfulness and grace.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, the Author of reconciliation, and the One who makes all things new. Amen.

Entendemos a frustração de ter um negócio com tudo para dar certo, mas ver as coisas travadas por desconfianças e mal-entendidos. Quando a confiança entre parceiros se desgasta, parece que o avanço fica mais pesado do que deveria. Nós nos importamos com essa situação e cremos que Deus se importa ainda mais.

The business that weighs upon your spirit is indeed a heavy burden, and it is right that you bring it before the throne of grace. Yet, let me remind you that there is a business far more pressing than any earthly enterprise, the business of the soul and the glory of our Father. When you make your own business God’s business, you will do your business well. Take this tangled affair of partnership and stalled advance, and lay it before Him who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Has He not said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”? Bring that promise across the counter of heaven, as a man presents his cheque at the bank, and receive the cash of answered prayer. Distrust Him not. Do not charge God with the ignorance and suspicion of men; rather, believe that He can overrule even the folly of partners for your good and His purpose.
Consider that these very hindrances, the incomprehension, the unwarranted distrust, may be the furnace in which your faith is refined. The delay that vexes you is known to your Father, and He is not idle. If you are in partnership with Christ, and He is the chief shareholder in all your concerns, then this trial is but a lesson in overcoming. You must learn first to overcome evil with good, and then you will find strength to overcome even divine goodness by a holy trust, to look into the face of a seeming thwarting and say, “I will never distrust Thee, my Lord.” The impatience of men is not the master of your fate; He who stilled the waves is at the helm. Go to Him in prayer, plead His covenant faithfulness, and then walk forward in the calm assurance that He will direct your path.
But let me press a deeper question upon your conscience. Is your one business in life to lead men to Jesus Christ? For the business of the Church, and of each Christian, is salvation. This tangled negotiation, this stalled agreement, may be a platform for a greater transaction. Do not let the chrysalis of a man, blind, deaf, and impotent in spiritual things, be your pattern. Be all eye, all ear, all hand for the gospel while you attend to this earthly matter. Do not faint because the wheels of commerce grind slowly; remember that your chief errand is to teach transgressors God’s ways. If you can but get souls saved, everything else will come right in due time. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and the addition of these needed things will follow.
Stand, therefore, like Noah, who entered the ark with his whole household in holy freedom. You are not the slave of this business or of these partners. Act in perfect liberty of conscience, choosing the path of integrity and patience because you believe God’s covenant stands secure. Your family is named in that bond, and your daily labor is not apart from His care. Bring this paralyzed venture into the very holy place, and there leave it with the Crucified One, who made His soul an offering for sin. He who was about His Father’s business even unto death will not neglect the child who rolls his burden onto Him. Go now, and let the worry die at the foot of the cross. Rise to your calling, and let your partnership with the risen Son be the driving force of every waking hour.

Your family business is not stuck outside God’s sight. I will pray, but I must also counsel you. The stoppage you describe is not ultimately caused by partners alone. Misunderstanding, ignorance, and distrust are spiritual weeds, and they grow best in the soil of hurried hearts. You cannot make your partners reasonable by force, but you can make yourself transparent. Let your accounts be open. Let your words be plain and few. Do not add oath to oath, for an oath is an evidence rather of distrust than of confidence. Show such honesty that others may trust you even without oaths.
Then bring the matter before the Lord in church, but do not carry the market into the church and let its noise choke the word. Go home, take the Scriptures with your household, and there consider the business with justice and charity. If the venture is lawful, pursue it without anxiety, but hold it loosely. Pray that God would either open the door or close it, and give you grace to accept His timing.
I will join you in asking for light for the ignorant, patience for the mistrusted, and for every partner to prefer righteousness over profit. If there is any hidden wrong in the business, confess it and make it right before you ask for advancement. Do your part, leave the result to God, and do not let the gain of a family become the loss of a soul.
