God bless U, Neil & God bless U again & again. Holy Spirit is drawing U. Jesus said if the Holy Spirit does not draw U to Him, Neil, U cannot come. So U know U are on the right track. That is beautiful. Again God bless U. Our Father is drawing His sons & daughters to Himself. But Neil, we can be religious & not know God. Neil God loves U, & He has bless U, U may not think so, because U feel U are dirty.
U see Neil, U cannot make yourself clean before God. It is impossible. Mankind cannot clean himself up for God. (then the sacrifice that God made for us has power to save, cleanse & santifies us). God says "our righteousness is nothing but filty rags, yours & mind, Isa 64:6. {, Rm 5:12,Sin & death came in to the world through Adam}. The 2nd
Adam is Jesus Christ, for what Adam could not do in the flesh, Jesus has accomplished in every way in the world. He was & is the perfect man. Therefore it is when we are in Christ Jesus, we can walk. (Paul says to live, is Christ to live in him, Phil 1:21} Christ must live in us. If not we will still live after Adam.
To come to Christ, we must repent of ours sins. All have sinned & come short of the glory of God, Rm 3:23} So what grounds are U coming on except Jesus. U must be born again to enter into the kingdom of God John 3:3,listen to God through Jesus} In verse 6, Jesus says it is a spiritual birth, what is spirit, is spirit, what is flesh is flesh. U must me born again. Read John 3- 11.
Neil, U said U want to hear the voice of your Father. Well Neil (where is your Bible?) God speaks to us in many way: through HIS DEVINE WORDS (accept them as the bread coming from Our Father, yes bread to feed your soul (soul food & noursish your soul-intangible, where as tangible food that we can touch is for our physical body. He also speaks to us through situation & circumstances. He can speak to us through teachers, through dreams, through His voice. Yes, He can speak inside of your own spirit. Words cannot explain it. Your thoughts must be lined up with the word. Cast down thoughts that are contrary to the word of God for those are lies.
When we repents & ask Jesus to be Lord & saviour we are washed by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) then Our heavenly Father sees us through Jesus, through the blood, for He cannot look at our sins, for He is Holy. (Jesus reconcile us back to the Father. He does not see us filty anymore when we come through the blood of the Lamb, through His per sacrifice (Jesus Christ) When we fail, we repent and come bodly to the thrown of God. The veil was split, but we go through Jesus always for no one died for U except Christ.
