Disciple of Prayer
My name is ###. I am continuing this discussion under a new account, as I am currently unable to access my previous account.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude for all of your prayers!

Since my recent prayer request, I have had the privilege of preaching in ###, ###, and ###. During my time in ###, I received a map of ### from a traveler, which has allowed me to chart the places I have visited since ###.

I am wholeheartedly committed to actively serving God. This commitment includes daily reading, and on particularly hot days, I find solace in sitting under trees or on covered park benches, dedicating my entire day to study and reflection.

The heat has been quite intense, and my car's air conditioning is unfortunately not functioning. However, I remain resourceful in finding ways to stay cool.

I pray each day for the Lord's guidance and assistance, as managing everything can be quite challenging. I also seek opportunities for work, as I wish to avoid being a burden; my current resources come from selling items at yard sales and through pawn shops. I am deeply grateful for the generous contributions from some individuals, which have significantly helped my situation.

While this journey presents its challenges, I heard words in the spirit regarding the ocean. This is a lengthy drive. God's light has shone remarkably bright during this time at lakes, rivers, and on the streets. You can witness the beautiful evidence of this at jesusloveandlight.blogspot.com. I've seen various responses to His light in the faces of people.

I continue to seek His support and guidance.

Corinthians 16:13-14
English Standard Version
13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
14 Let all that you do be done in love.

In Jesus Name

We rejoice with you in the mighty work the Lord is doing through your obedience and dedication to preaching the Gospel! Your commitment to daily study, reflection, and sharing God’s Word—even in the midst of physical discomfort and financial challenges—is a testament to your faith. We are encouraged by your reliance on the Lord’s provision, whether through the generosity of others or your own resourcefulness. Truly, He is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Your mention of the ocean and the leading of the Spirit reminds us of how God often speaks in mysterious yet profound ways. Just as Jesus called His disciples to be fishers of men (Matthew 4:19), we pray the Lord opens doors for you to cast the net of the Gospel far and wide, drawing many to His saving grace. The responses you’ve witnessed in the faces of people—whether curiosity, conviction, or joy—are evidence that the Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Keep shining His light, for you are a vessel of His love in a dark world.

We also lift up your practical needs before the Father. The heat and the lack of air conditioning in your car are real trials, but we trust the Lord to provide relief, whether through repaired provisions or divine appointments to keep you cool and safe. Your desire to work and avoid being a burden reflects the dignity of labor and the biblical call to provide for oneself (2 Thessalonians 3:10). We pray for open doors of opportunity—honest work that sustains you without distracting from your primary calling to preach. Remember, the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Your reference to 1 Corinthians 16:13–14 is timely. Indeed, we must stand firm in the faith, act with courage, and let *all* we do be done in love. This love is not merely sentiment but the selfless, sacrificial love of Christ—compelling us to endure hardship for the sake of the Gospel. As you continue this journey, cling to the promise that God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Now, let us pray together for you:

*Heavenly Father, we thank You for our brother’s faithfulness and his heart to serve You without reserve. Lord, You see his sacrifices—the heat he endures, the financial strain, and the physical weariness—yet he presses on for Your name’s sake. We ask You to refresh him, body and soul, as only You can. Provide cool shade and living water for his thirst (John 4:14). Restore his car or supply another means of comfortable travel, that he may continue this mission without hindrance.*

*Father, open doors of employment that align with Your will, that he may labor with joy and provision. Let every yard sale, every pawned item, and every gift from others be multiplied in Your hands, just as You multiplied the loaves and fishes (Matthew 14:17–21). Guard his heart from discouragement, and remind him daily that his reward is in heaven (Matthew 6:20).*

*We pray for the people he encounters—soften their hearts to receive the Gospel. Let Your Spirit go before him, preparing the way as You did for John the Baptist (Luke 1:17). Give him boldness to speak Your Word with clarity and love, and let signs and wonders follow his preaching, that many may turn to You in repentance and faith (Mark 16:20).*

*If the ocean is where You are leading, make the path clear. Provide the means for travel, safety on the roads, and divine connections along the way. Let this next step be marked by Your glory, Lord, and let our brother’s testimony be a beacon of Your faithfulness.*

*Finally, Father, surround him with brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage, pray for, and stand with him. Let him not walk this road alone, but find fellowship that sharpens his faith (Proverbs 27:17).*

*We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Amen.*

Brother, we exhort you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, especially when the road is hard. The enemy may whisper lies of doubt or weariness, but the truth is this: *you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you* (Romans 8:37). The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and He will sustain you to the end.

If there are moments of loneliness or spiritual attack, remember the words of Paul: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). Lean on Him, not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5–6). And when you preach, preach *Christ crucified* (1 Corinthians 1:23)—the power and wisdom of God unto salvation.

We stand with you in this fight of faith. Keep running the race set before you, and may the Lord grant you a harvest of souls for His kingdom. Report back to us, that we may continue to lift you up and give thanks for His mighty works in your life!

We're so glad to hear about the wonderful work God is doing through you, dear friend! Your dedication to daily study, reflection, and preaching the Gospel is truly inspiring. We're also encouraged by your trust in the Lord's provision, even in the face of physical discomfort and financial challenges.

We join you in seeking God's guidance and assistance in managing your current situation. We pray that He would provide relief from the intense heat, perhaps through a repaired car or other means of comfortable travel. We also ask that He would open doors of opportunity for honest work that sustains you without distracting from your primary calling to preach. Remember, the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.

As you continue this journey, may you find solace and strength in the promise that God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Keep shining His light, for you are a vessel of His love in a dark world.

In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.
