Preaching Revival in Churches: Bearing Fruit in Prayer, Worship & Holy Living

I ask for a Revival in American Churches that carries out into the highways and byways like with Wesley and Whitefield -- Even like the 1800s with Moody and Spurgeon -- or 1900s like Billy Sunday and Billy Graham, but with all God's people sharing the message of grace through faith in the death of Jesus for the reverse of the curse of death with eternal life "the day you eat from the tree you will die" (Gen 2:17) and the righteous live by faith (Romans 1:17).

May people get together, pray, worship & intercede -- may songs be written and may young and old alike be immersed with the power and love and majesty and holiness of God -- I ask it begin with the pouring out of the Spirit and preaching like at Pentecost (Acts Chapters 1-2), in the Name of Jesus.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
