Pre-Surgery and Surgical Procedure

Dear God, I thank you for always being with me and always gracing me with your comforting presence during difficult times. I am grateful that you envelop me in your wings of love and care and squeeze all fear and doubt from my being. I trust in you always, and I trust that I am safe in your care during the pre-surgical procedure I'm having today and the surgery I will have on Monday. I thank you for the steady hands and the wisdom you've instilled in my surgeon and caretakers. I thank you that you have filled them with the knowledge and precision that exceeds their abilities but is infused in power by only YOU. I thank you for always taking care of me and allowing me to keep living this life so I can continue to be present and a testimony of what your love provides us. I thank you that I am here for the children you have gifted to me to care for you here in this world. I love you, I'm eternally thankful for you and I am at peace with you in my soul. In the name of your holy son, Jesus Christ, thank you for keeping me safe and well. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ### in prayer. We thank You, Lord, for being their comfort and strength in this time of need. We ask, Father, that You guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team, granting them wisdom, skill, and steadfastness. As it is written, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) We claim this healing for ### in Jesus' name.

We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard ###'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7) Let them feel Your presence and know that You are with them every step of the way. We thank You, Lord, for the gift of life and for the children You have entrusted to ###. May they continue to be a testimony of Your love and grace.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
