We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for His faithfulness in your life and the lives of your children, siblings, and all who are dear to you. It is beautiful to see your heart of gratitude for the Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—and your prayers for Jerusalem and America, which align with Scripture’s call to seek the peace and prosperity of these lands (Psalm 122:6, 2 Chronicles 7:14). We echo your praise and thanksgiving, for every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17), and we are grateful you have ended your prayer in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12).

Your heart is clearly heavy with many burdens, and we want to address each one with the truth and love of Scripture, praying earnestly for you as we do. First, we notice your mention of a "relationship and friendship" with someone you love deeply. We want to gently but firmly remind you that outside of the covenant of marriage, romantic relationships are not honored by God. If this relationship is not within the bounds of a godly marriage between a man and a woman, it is essential to repent and seek God’s will for purity and holiness. Scripture is clear that fornication and emotional entanglements outside of marriage are sinful and can lead to heartache and separation from God’s best for your life (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If this man is not your husband, we urge you to surrender this relationship to the Lord and ask Him to redirect your affections toward a godly marriage if it is His will. If this relationship is with someone who is not a believer, Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). It is better to trust in the Lord’s timing and plan for a spouse than to cling to something that may not align with His Word.

We also hear the pain in your heart over the divorce you are enduring. Divorce is a grievous thing, and while Scripture acknowledges that it happens because of the hardness of hearts, it is not God’s design (Matthew 19:8). We pray that if there is any possibility of reconciliation, you would seek it with humility, prayer, and godly counsel. However, if the divorce is finalized due to unrepentant sin or abandonment, we pray for God’s comfort, provision, and healing over you. Your desire to gain custody of your daughter is understandable, and we lift this up to the Lord, asking that He would work on your behalf in accordance with His will. Remember, children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and He cares deeply for their well-being. Trust that He will provide for you and your daughter, even in the midst of this storm. As for the house and property, we pray that the Lord would meet your needs abundantly, whether through the retention of your home or by providing another place of stability and peace. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and He knows your financial struggles. Lean on Him and not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Your work ethic is commendable, and we pray over your roles as a caregiver and an evening worker. May the Lord give you strength, wisdom, and favor in both positions. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” We pray that your service to the elderly woman would be marked by kindness, patience, and excellence, and that the Lord would protect you and all those in your workplace. Safety is in His hands, and we ask for His covering over you as you travel and labor.

Lastly, we sense your longing for this man to reach out to you. It is painful to feel ignored or distant from someone you care about, but we encourage you to cast this burden upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7). If this man is withdrawing, it may be a sign that this relationship is not what God intends for you. Instead of focusing on his actions, we urge you to seek the Lord’s presence and ask Him to fill the void in your heart. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” When your delight is in Him first, He will align your desires with His perfect will. If this man is not pursuing you in a godly way, it may be the Lord’s protection over you. Trust Him, even when it hurts.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting up her heart, her struggles, and her desires. Lord, we thank You for her faith and her willingness to bring everything to You in prayer. We ask that You would surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that You would guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we pray for clarity and conviction regarding the relationship she has mentioned. If it is not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You would give her the strength to let go and trust You for a godly marriage in Your timing. Remove any ungodly soul ties and heal her heart from any emotional dependency that is not of You. Help her to find her fulfillment in You alone, Lord.

We lift up the pain of this divorce and ask for Your comfort and guidance. If reconciliation is possible and aligned with Your will, we pray for softened hearts and repentance. If not, we ask that You would provide for her and her daughter in every way—emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Lord, we pray for favor in the courts regarding custody and the home. You see her need, and You are able to provide beyond what she can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Give her wisdom as she navigates these legal matters, and let her trust in You rather than in her own understanding.

We thank You for her diligence in her work, and we ask that You would bless the labor of her hands. Protect her as she cares for others and as she works in the evenings. Give her strength, Lord, and let her be a light in her workplace. Keep her safe from harm and surround her with Your angels.

Father, we pray that You would heal the longing in her heart for this man. If he is not Your will for her life, we ask that You would remove the desire and replace it with a deeper love for You. Help her to wait on You and trust in Your timing. Fill her with Your Spirit and remind her that she is complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10).

Lastly, Lord, we pray for her salvation and walk with You. If she has not fully surrendered her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself. Remind her that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and that there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to walk in obedience to Your Word.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of her. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Let her rise up in the authority of Jesus’ name and walk in victory, knowing that You are with her always.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, lifting up your heart to our Heavenly Father. We've been moved by your heart of gratitude for the Trinity and your prayers for Jerusalem and America. Let's continue to align our hearts with Scripture's call to seek the peace and prosperity of these lands.

We want to add our voices to your prayers for your relationship and friendship with someone you deeply care about. We understand the longing and the struggle, but we want to remind you of God's design for romantic relationships. Outside of the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, these relationships are not honored by God. If this relationship is not within the bounds of a godly marriage, it's essential to repent and seek God's will for purity and holiness. Scripture is clear that fornication and emotional entanglements outside of marriage are sinful and can lead to heartache and separation from God's best for your life (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

It's better to trust in the Lord's timing and plan for a spouse than to cling to something that may not align with His Word.

We're also praying for you as you navigate through the pain and uncertainty of your divorce. Divorce is a grievous thing, but remember that God sees your heart and your struggles. If there's any possibility of reconciliation, we pray that you would seek it with humility, prayer, and godly counsel. If the divorce is finalized due to unrepentant sin or abandonment, we pray for God's comfort, provision, and healing over you. We're lifting up your desire to gain custody of your daughter to the Lord, trusting that He will provide for you and your daughter in the midst of this storm.

We're also praying for your financial situation, that the Lord would meet your needs abundantly, whether through the retention of your home or by providing another place of stability and peace. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and He knows your financial struggles. Lean on Him and not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're impressed by your work ethic and diligence in your roles as a caregiver and an evening worker. May the Lord give you strength, wisdom, and favor in both positions. We're praying for safety and protection over you as you travel and labor.

Lastly, we sense your longing for this man to reach out to you. It's painful to feel ignored or distant from someone you care about, but we encourage you to cast this burden upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7). Instead of focusing on his actions, we urge you to seek the Lord's presence and ask Him to fill the void in your heart. When your delight is in Him first, He will align your desires with His perfect will (Psalm 37:4).

Let's continue to pray together, dear friend, trusting that our Heavenly Father will meet you in your every need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
