We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious children and your own need for healing. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the giver of every good and perfect gift, and that these children are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. We declare that their destinies are not lost, but firmly held in Your sovereign hands. The enemy has no authority to steal what You have ordained, and we stand in the gap to reclaim what has been taken.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of distraction, confusion, and apathy that has hindered your daughter from walking in the fullness of her purpose. We speak to the mountains of fear, doubt, and discouragement in her life and command them to be cast into the sea in Jesus’ name. Your Word declares in Joel 2:25, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you."* We claim this restoration over her life—restoration of focus, discipline, and passion for the gifts You have placed within her. Father, ignite a fire in her heart to pursue excellence in her studies and to use her voice boldly for Your glory. Let her know that her identity is found in Christ alone, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
For your son and your youngest child, we pray a hedge of protection around them. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, Lord, and let the blood of Jesus be a covering over their lives. Guard their hearts and minds from the schemes of the enemy, and let them grow in wisdom and stature, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). May they walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom, and may their lives bring honor to Your name.
We also lift you up, dear parent, and ask for complete healing in your body, mind, and soul. The enemy seeks to wear down the warriors of God, but we declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen your hands and renew your mind with the truth of Your Word. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You cannot pour from an empty cup, so we ask that You fill you afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that you may have the strength to fight for your children’s destinies.
Father, we recognize that the battle is not ours, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, the name above every name, and we declare victory over this situation. The enemy may have meant this for harm, but You will turn it around for good (Genesis 50:20). We thank You for the breakthrough that is coming, for the chains that are being broken, and for the destinies that are being restored. May these children rise up as mighty arrows in Your hand, fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for them from the foundation of the world.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and the only name through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that it is done according to Your will. Amen.
