Praying to find a work from home job that will hire me..

Dearest Lord Jesus Christ,

I come before you today with open arms asking that you grant me a work from home job. I haven’t written back here since my last prayer request because I haven’t been myself lately. I feel so lost and out of touch.

It’s been 2 months already and I still haven’t found a job yet. I feel like my life is spiraling and that I cannot seem to get out of this storm. I don’t know what to do anymore.

I just want to fully surrender this to you, my Lord Jesus Christ. I am giving all this pain and frustration to you. Please help me carry this cross. I can’t do it alone. I need your divine love and protection to help me reach the finish line.

Another week has passed and still no positive news regarding any of my job applications. I don’t know what company will hire me or what job will best suit me. I don’t know who to call and where to apply. I don’t have clarity and peace of mind. But all I know is that I need to keep trusting you and have faith that you will come around.

I know you will show up, God. You always do. I know you will send your Holy Spirit to guide me every step of the way. Please light up this path. I lift this up to you. I don’t know what to do anymore. I really am at the end of the road already. This is the lowest point in my life and I am so scared to keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

Therefore, I am praying for a miracle. I know there is a test that I need to do first to prove that I can change. I know this is about ###. He has led me this much closer to you, Lord. You revealed to me that he is someone that is from you. I prayed for so many signs, and this situation that we are in now is maybe your final test before my blessings.

I know what I need to do and I know I need to do this because this is a testament that I can change for the better. Please help me to make it through to the other side and actually mean what I say. Please help me to navigate through tough waters and not be swayed by the enemy.

I am amazed that you prevented me from sending that text to him and that you have opened up my eyes to my old patterns and habits. You have really shown me all the areas of my life that I need to work on.

And I am praying that I am able to give ### the space he needs without sabotaging our friendship. I rebuke all evil spirits that keep confusing my mind. For I know they are just doing this because they don’t want me to be near you, Lord.

I know this is the test. You have revealed to me the answers so many times. And time and time again, I keep failing. So this time, Lord God I really want to do it. I want to follow your word. I want to follow Jesus Christ.

But please be with me and set my path straighter than ever. I don’t wanna mess up anymore. I really really want to keep this person in my life and I am sorry for telling you to take him away from me. I know I should have appreciated him from the very first time I prayed for him in this platform. I am sorry for second guessing that.

Lord, I don’t know if my breakthrough is tied up with my friendship with ### but please I really want to be able to keep both of them. And I promise to take good care of it this time around. I won’t take advantage anymore and I won’t think negatively.

Lord Jesus Christ, so many of us, me, my mom, my son, ###, my friends and family have been praying for you to grant me a work from home job right away. I know even though the situation seems impossible right now, you will always find a way to make it happen. We put all our trust in you. Please hear our prayers. This is not only for me; but for the good of all the people around me.

Please, I am seeking for a miracle from heaven. Please grant me a job that will save me from this financial problem that I am facing. Please, all of us really need your mercy. Please open a door for me that no man can close. Please move mountains. Please make the impossible happen.

Thank you so much. Thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Holy Spirit.

Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything, Lord.

Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the Lord. Your honesty about feeling lost and overwhelmed is a testament to your desire to draw closer to God, and we rejoice that you are seeking His will in this season. The struggle to find work, the weight of financial strain, and the emotional turmoil you describe are heavy crosses to bear, but we know that Jesus is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

First, we want to affirm your surrender to Christ. Your words, *"I just want to fully surrender this to you, my Lord Jesus Christ,"* are powerful and pleasing to God. Surrender is not a one-time act but a daily choice, and we see your heart in this. Jesus Himself said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). He is your rest, your provider, and your peace. The enemy may whisper lies that you are alone or that your situation is hopeless, but we rebuke those lies in Jesus' name. God has not forgotten you. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is working even when you cannot see it.

You mentioned feeling like you are at the *"lowest point"* in your life and fearing that you will keep making the same mistakes. This is a place many of God’s people have been, and it is often where He does His deepest work. The apostle Paul wrote, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). Your weakness is not a barrier to God’s strength—it is the very place where His power can shine. We encourage you to cling to this truth. Every time you choose to trust God instead of your fears, you are being refined like gold in the fire (1 Peter 1:7).

Now, we must address the situation you described with the individual referred to as "###." It is clear that this relationship has been a source of confusion, testing, and even spiritual warfare for you. We notice that you referred to this person as *"someone that is from you, Lord"* and that you prayed for signs regarding them. However, we must gently but firmly remind you that God’s will for relationships is clear: *"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this person is not a believer in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, or if this relationship is not pursuing the biblical standard of marriage between one man and one woman, it is not aligned with God’s design.

You mentioned that God has *"revealed to you the answers so many times"* and that you have failed in the past, but this time you want to *"follow your word"* and *"follow Jesus Christ."* This is a beautiful and necessary commitment. If this relationship is causing you to compromise your faith, to stumble in purity, or to prioritize a person over God, it is a snare of the enemy. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, emotional dependency, or idolatry that may be attached to this situation. Jesus said, *"If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple"* (Luke 14:26). This does not mean literal hatred but a radical prioritization of Christ above all else. Your first love must be Jesus, and anything that competes with Him must be surrendered.

We also notice your mention of *"old patterns and habits"* and your desire to change. This is the work of the Holy Spirit in you! We encourage you to take practical steps to break free from any sinful patterns, whether they are emotional, relational, or behavioral. James 5:16 says, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed."* Seek accountability with a trusted believer, immerse yourself in Scripture, and replace old habits with godly disciplines like prayer, fasting, and worship. The enemy wants to keep you isolated and ashamed, but God calls you into freedom (John 8:36).

Regarding your job search, we stand with you in faith. The Lord is your provider, and He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8). We declare that He will open a door for you that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). However, we also encourage you to take practical steps: update your resume, seek out remote job listings, network with other believers who may have leads, and consider temporary or freelance work if needed. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* Trust God, but also be diligent in your efforts.

We also lift up your family—your mom and your son. It is clear that they are on your heart, and we pray that God would provide for them as well. Remember that your testimony of faith can be a light to them. When they see you trusting God in the midst of hardship, it can draw them closer to Him.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see every tear, hear every cry, and hold every detail of their life in Your hands. Lord, You are the God who parts seas, who provides manna in the wilderness, and who raises the dead to life. We ask You to move mightily in this situation.

Father, we thank You for the surrender we see in their heart. We pray that You would strengthen their faith and give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask You to open a door for employment that no man can shut. Provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them clarity, wisdom, and favor as they seek opportunities. Let them see Your hand at work in every application, interview, and conversation.

We also pray for their relationship with the individual referred to as "###." Lord, we ask You to reveal Your truth in this situation. If this relationship is not of You, we pray that You would sever any unhealthy emotional ties and give them the strength to walk away. If there is sin or compromise, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Father, we rebuke every spirit of confusion, idolatry, and emotional dependency. We declare that their heart belongs to You alone. Help them to prioritize You above all else and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Lord, we ask You to heal any wounds from past mistakes. Remind them that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23) and that You are not a God who holds their failures against them. Help them to walk in the freedom and victory that Christ died to give them. Surround them with godly community—believers who will encourage, pray for, and hold them accountable.

We also pray for their family. Lord, provide for their mom and their son. Let them see Your faithfulness through this trial. Use this season to draw them closer to You and to one another.

Father, we declare that this is not the end of their story. You are writing a testimony of provision, redemption, and breakthrough. We thank You in advance for the miracle You are going to perform. We trust You, Lord, and we stand on Your promises.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep walking in obedience. Your breakthrough is coming. As it says in Isaiah 43:19, *"Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out already. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."* God is making a way for you. Stand firm, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

The test is that you will know that God is in control of this prayer request and all of your other requests. Your job is to seek a job with all of your might, pray for God to deliver a job to you, know that God will deliver, and finally to be at peace as God takes His time to deliver. Any impatience on your part only details your job. And that means internal impatience as well as external. 🙏🙏💪
