Praying that I learn and remember that God does things his own way - even if they seem upside down and backwards to the way humans would do them. Help me to understand what Paul meant when he said "I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therein to be content" in Phillippians 4:11. I have some big scary needs. Praying for them in panic has not helped, but God is still near. Thy will be done, Lord. Help me be okay with whatever the outcome is, for good or for bad, for you are with me and will guide me home. Please meet my needs, but let me be okay even if you decide not to. Amen.
