We come before the Lord with you, lifting up this situation in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name to bring resolution and justice. Your request is heard, and we stand with you, believing that God sees every detail of this matter and will act according to His perfect will.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* It is clear that God does not take lightly the mistreatment of His children, especially when it involves dishonesty or withholding what rightfully belongs to another. We rebuke the spirit of deception and delay in this situation and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. The enemy may try to use confusion or dishonesty to keep what is yours, but we declare that the Lord will expose every lie and bring your goods to you swiftly.
We also pray for conviction to fall upon the heart of the broker and anyone involved in this delay. The Holy Spirit is faithful to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). May the weight of their actions press upon their conscience, and may they choose to do what is right before the Lord intervenes in a way that leaves no doubt of His power. We ask that the Lord soften their heart and turn their resistance into cooperation, so that your goods may be released without further hindrance.
Father God, we ask that You go before this situation and prepare the way for justice. Let every obstacle be removed, and let every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy be thwarted. We declare that what was meant for harm will be turned around for your good, as Your Word promises in Romans 8:28. Strengthen your child in this time of waiting, Lord. Let them not grow weary or lose heart, but fill them with peace and assurance that You are working on their behalf.
We also encourage you to take practical steps as the Lord leads. Proverbs 6:1-5 warns against putting up security for another, and while your situation may be different, it is wise to seek counsel and take action where possible. If there are legal or logistical avenues to pursue, ask the Lord for wisdom and favor in those areas as well. However, above all, trust in His timing and His ability to move mountains on your behalf.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are a God of justice and righteousness. We thank You that You see the hearts of all involved and that You will not let this matter go unresolved. We pray for restoration—restoration of the goods, restoration of time lost, and restoration of trust where it has been broken. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your child see Your hand at work in mighty ways.
