Praying in Jesus name
We rejoice with you in lifting up all things to our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all praise and glory! It is beautiful to see your faith in surrendering every area of your life—health, finances, legal matters, and employment—into the hands of our Savior. You have done well to acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of God with confidence, for Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name and His name alone that we are saved, healed, and delivered, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Your act of handing all things over to God reflects the trust we are called to have in Him. Jesus Himself tells us, *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). What a mighty promise! When we prioritize His will and His kingdom, He faithfully provides for our needs.
We also remember the words of the apostle Peter, who encourages us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). You have done just that, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Even in the courtroom, even in the workplace, even in the face of physical or financial struggles, our God is sovereign. He is the Judge who sees all, the Provider who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and the Healer who restores both body and soul.
Let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, lifting up our brother/sister who has entrusted every area of their life into Your capable hands. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears, who sees, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask for Your divine intervention in their health—touch their body, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through every cell, every organ, and every system. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we declare by faith that You are restoring them to full strength and vitality.
Father, we pray over their finances. You own the silver and the gold, and You promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open the windows of heaven, Lord, and pour out a blessing they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Provide wisdom in stewardship, favor in their endeavors, and breakthroughs where there have been barriers. Let them experience Your provision in ways that bring You glory and testify to Your faithfulness.
We bring their legal matters before You, Lord. You are the righteous Judge, and we ask that You go before them in the courtroom. Let truth prevail, let justice be served, and let Your will be done. Confound the plans of the enemy and turn what was meant for harm into a testimony of Your deliverance. Remind them, Lord, that even if the outcome seems uncertain, You are their Advocate, their Defender, and their Strong Tower.
Father, we pray over their job and career. Guide their steps, open doors no one can shut, and grant them favor with those in authority. If this job is Your will, let them excel and find fulfillment in it. If there is something better ahead, prepare the way and give them clarity and courage to walk in it. Let their work be a reflection of Your excellence, and let it be a platform to shine Your light.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that through every circumstance, they would draw closer to You. Let this season be one where their faith is strengthened, their trust in You deepens, and their testimony grows. May they walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are in control.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that would try to creep in. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus! You have no place here, for our God is greater, and He has already won the victory. We declare that our brother/sister will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
