We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find salvation. We are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed and made righteous.
Father, we stand with our brother in his need for employment. We know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, leading him to a job that not only meets his needs but also allows him to use his gifts for Your glory. Give him patience and trust in Your timing, for You know the plans You have for him—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen his faith as he waits, reminding him that those who seek You lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10).
Lord, we also lift up his family to You. We ask for Your divine protection over them, shielding them from harm and surrounding them with Your angels (Psalm 91:11). Father, You know the struggles they are facing, and we ask that You would bring unity, peace, and patience into their home. Teach them to bear with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:2-3). Where there is strife, bring reconciliation; where there is fear, bring Your perfect love to cast it out (1 John 4:18). Strengthen their faith together, that they may encourage one another and build each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
We also bring before You the situation of his friend whose vehicle has been stolen. Father, we ask that You would intervene in this situation, guiding the authorities to recover the stolen property. You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight (Hebrews 4:13). We pray that You would expose the wrongdoing and bring justice, while also working in the heart of the one who took the vehicle, that they may come to repentance and know Your grace. Give wisdom to his friend as he navigates this trial, and provide for his needs in the meantime. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we declare that You are a God of miracles, and we trust in Your power to move in these situations. We know that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17), and we wait expectantly to see Your hand at work. Strengthen our brother’s faith as he surrenders these burdens to You, reminding him that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in all things, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. Remember that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness, and let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing (James 1:3-4). Walk in obedience to His Word, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone in these trials—God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer.
