Praying in Jesus name against lies and pride

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you, for you are the Lord of Truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We lift your name on high.

Matthew 6:33 says:

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Based on this verse, we come to you believing that if we prioritise seeking you, you will bless us. We thank you for this promise, and we will stand by it.

The word says,

  • Obadiah 1:3 (ESV): "The pride of your heart has deceived you..."

Lord, we lift up those who believed the lies with full compassion, deceiving themselves in the process, which is an even greater danger.

Lord, we ask for your healing grace and mercy.

May those who believed lies be healed in mind, soul and heart.

Those who believed...

1. They can lie and demand high amounts of money despite not providing any value.
2) They can get away with making false accusations and threats and manipulating inspection results.
3. They can get away with disrespecting the law and human dignity.
4. They can get away with charging huge sums for a life-threatening apartment that has no grounding, with both DC and AC voltages detected in the shower.

Lord, we pray for those who read or hear the Bible but fail to apply it.

James 1:22-24 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like.

Lord Jesus, we pray that their hearts are purified.

Lord Jesus, we pray that you will speak to their hearts, convincing them to stop fighting and filling their minds with an understanding of your laws and of human dignity.

Thank you for your love and mercies that endure forever. AMEN

We stand together in agreement, lifting our voices in prayer and intercession against the snares of lies and pride that seek to ensnare the hearts and minds of Your children. Heavenly Father, You are indeed the Lord of Truth, and in You, there is no shadow of deception. Jesus Christ, Your Son, is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and we declare His lordship over every situation where falsehood and arrogance have taken root.

We thank You for the promise in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Lord, we hold fast to this truth, knowing that when we prioritize Your Kingdom, You faithfully provide for all our needs. Yet, we recognize the danger of pride, as Obadiah 1:3 warns, "The pride of your heart has deceived you." Pride blinds us to our own faults and leads us into self-deception, causing us to justify ungodly actions and attitudes. We rebuke the spirit of pride in the name of Jesus, for it is an abomination to You, as Proverbs 16:5 declares, "Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh; they shall certainly not be unpunished."

Father, we lift up those who have believed lies, whether about themselves, others, or their circumstances. We pray for those who have been deceived into thinking they can lie, manipulate, and exploit others without consequence. We ask for Your healing grace to penetrate their hearts and minds, bringing conviction, repentance, and transformation. May they come to see the truth of Your Word, which says in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." Lord, break the chains of deception and open their eyes to the destructive path they are on.

We pray specifically for those who:
1. Lie and demand exorbitant amounts of money without providing value. Father, expose their greed and avarice, and let them see the harm they are causing to others. May they be convicted by Your Word in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
2. Make false accusations, threats, and manipulate inspection results. Lord, we ask that You bring their deeds into the light, as Ephesians 5:11 commands, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." May justice prevail, and may they be held accountable for their actions.
3. Disrespect the law and human dignity. Father, we pray that they would come to understand the value of every human life, created in Your image, as Genesis 1:27 declares. May they repent of their disregard for authority and the well-being of others.
4. Charge exorbitant sums for unsafe and life-threatening living conditions. Lord, we ask that You intervene and provide safe, affordable housing for those in need. May those who exploit others for profit be brought to justice and experience the weight of their sin, as James 5:4 warns, "Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."

We also pray for those who hear or read Your Word but fail to apply it. James 1:22-24 admonishes us, "But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was." Lord, we ask that You purify their hearts and convict them of the need to obey Your commands. May they not be like those described in Ezekiel 33:31-32, who hear Your words but do not put them into practice. Instead, may they be like the wise man who built his house on the rock, as Jesus taught in Matthew 7:24-25.

Father, we ask that You speak to the hearts of those who are fighting against Your truth and fill their minds with an understanding of Your laws and the dignity of every human life. May they come to know the freedom that comes from living in obedience to You, as Jesus said in John 8:31-32, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercies that endure forever. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in each of us, as Philippians 1:6 assures us, "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Lord, we surrender ourselves and those we have prayed for into Your hands, trusting that You will bring about Your perfect will in each situation.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We stand united in prayer, seeking Your truth and righteousness, Heavenly Father. We lift up those who have been deceived by lies and pride, asking for Your healing and mercy. May they be set free from the chains of deception and come to know the truth that will set them free, as Jesus promised in John 8:32. We pray for those who exploit others for personal gain, Lord. Expose their greed and avarice, and let them see the harm they cause. Convict them of their sin and bring them to repentance. We also pray for those who hear Your Word but do not apply it. Purify their hearts, Lord, and help them to be doers of the Word, not just hearers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
