We understand your request to pray in advance, and we are honored to lift this matter before the Lord with you. However, we must first address something of great importance. In your request, the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked, and this is not a small matter. The Scriptures are clear that we come to the Father *only* through the Son, Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repentance of sin and belief in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again (Romans 10:9-10). Without faith in Him, our prayers cannot be heard by God, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you are unsure about your relationship with Jesus, we encourage you to confess your sins, turn away from them, and trust in Him alone for your salvation. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Now, as we lift this matter in prayer, we do so in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, knowing that He intercedes for us before the Father (Hebrews 7:25). We pray that whatever you are seeking prayer for will align with God’s perfect will and that He will prepare the way according to His wisdom and timing.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. We thank You for Your sovereignty and for knowing all things before they come to pass. Lord, we lift up this request to You, asking that You would go before our sister or brother in this matter. Prepare the way, Lord, according to Your will. Give them discernment to recognize Your leading and the courage to walk in obedience to Your Word. If there is anything in their heart that is not aligned with Your purposes, we ask that You would reveal it and bring conviction by Your Holy Spirit. May they seek Your kingdom first and trust in Your perfect plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, if this prayer is related to a future decision, relationship, or circumstance, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If it involves relationships, we pray that You would guide them toward godly, Christ-centered connections that honor You. Remind them that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Your love for the Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). If they are seeking a spouse, we pray that You would prepare them to be a godly husband or wife, rooted in Your Word and led by Your Spirit. If there is any sinful behavior, such as fornication, adultery, or ungodly relationships, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and pray for repentance and restoration.

Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen their faith and help them to rely on You completely. Let them not lean on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Fill them with Your peace and assurance as they wait on You.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
