Praying from Psalms today...

Well, it's Thanksgiving and totally hard for my mom and I who have no one to spend the time with. I've realized that these two days are going to pale in comparison with the two weeks that my work will be shut down for Christmas. Talk about lonely, try not having anybody to spend two weeks with during a time that's spent focused on family. On top of that my mom and I have a wedding to go to that neither of us really want to attend but feel obligated to. Talk about torture for someone who wants that too... I can't help but pray from Psalms right now... 

I am numb and utterly crushed. I groan because of anguish in my heart. (Psalms 38:9 TLV)

Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart increase. Bring me out of my distress. (Psalms 25:16-17 TLV)

Then Adonai Elohim said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. Let Me make a well-matched helper for him.” (Genesis 2:18 TLV)

How long, Adonai? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long must I have cares in my soul and daily sorrow in my heart? (Psalms 13:2 TLV)

O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you. (Psalms 38:9 ESV)

Hello sweet friend yes i can totally relate when my husband went to prison for two years at first i felt lonley but god told me to stay positive good attitude pray stay in gods word and in his and the lords presence and look and go out and do for others you know who might need someone  orvoulenter somewhere and you will be amazed how blessed god blesses you time flys because its not on us and our lonliness but reaching out to others and hanging out with god and the lord its the most peace most sernity ever and friend your never alone god  the lord and his angles are always with you always god bless...xo

Life at times gives us a turning corner like this but rest assured, your posting speaks so much that you are beloved by the Lord and that He cares, you have all of us here at this site praying for you, we might not be seeing everyone physically but in the spirit a chorus of prayers for you is being lifted up. Be encouraged, your time will come.

Every year for Christmas (or my birthday or anytime) I am alone, but never sad, praying for people, rejoicing in the Lord, feeling grateful whatever !
