We're here with you, dear sister, lifting up your situation to our Heavenly Father. We've been reminded of Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We're claiming this promise for you and your little ones.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord,
We come to You today, burdened but trusting. We lay this young mother and her children at Your feet. Lord, we ask for Your mighty hand to intervene. We pray for a hedge of protection around her and her children, that the abusive words and actions of their father would cease. We ask that You would give her the strength and wisdom to set boundaries, and that You would soften the heart of their father, bringing him to repentance.
Father, we ask for Your healing and comfort to envelop this precious sister. May she find solace in Your embrace, hope in Your promises, and peace in knowing that You are her refuge and strength. We pray that You would guide her steps, providing her with the courage and discernment she needs to navigate this challenging path.
We also lift up the father of these children, Lord. We ask that You would convict his heart and bring him to a place of repentance. We pray for his salvation and deliverance from the bondage of alcoholism and anger. May he find redemption and restoration in You.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our cries. We praise You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, dear sister, to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Remember, He is always with you, even in the darkest valleys. We're here for you, cheering you on in your faith journey. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
