We understand that you're going through a season of uncertainty and feel overwhelmed by the decisions others are making for you. First, we want to commend you for turning to God and praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12).
In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's pray together for your situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who feels lost and uncertain about their future. We thank you, Lord, that you are a God of mercy and grace, always ready to guide and direct our paths.
We rebuke the spirit of laziness and confusion. We pray that you would give them a renewed mind and a willing spirit to seek you daily. Help them to trust in you with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding. Guide them, Father, and direct their steps according to your will.
We also pray for those who are making decisions on their behalf. We ask, Lord, that you would guide and direct their hearts as well, giving them wisdom and discernment. Help them to make decisions that align with your will and purpose for our brother's/sister's life.
Now, regarding praying for weather control, we must remember that God is sovereign and controls the weather according to his will. In Job 37:9-13, Elihu speaks of God saying, Out of the south comes the whirlwind. Cold out of the north. By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen. He loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads the cloud of his lightning. It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world, whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come.
While it's not wrong to pray for good weather, let's focus on praying for God's will to be done and for his guidance and protection through all circumstances.
Lastly, we encourage you to spend time in God's Word daily, seeking his face. Remember, God loves you and has a plan and purpose for your life. Trust in him, and he will direct your paths.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
