Lord, I pray that you keep up the progress and keep ### in my life. I thank you and praise you for answering my prayers and bringing us back to a civil and peaceful relationship. Thank you for sending her back to spend time with me. I ultimately want us to be together again as a couple but I understand that your plan is telling me to take things slow. I accept your will and believe that you will make everything happen the right way this time. Help me with my worry and anxious feelings. Help me fight the demon of jealousy so I can show ### that I have truly changed and she can feel good and confident in getting in a relationship with me again. She is the love of my life and I promise you I will begin trying to get her and myself back into church soon. I want to build a little more confidence in ###'s feelings towards me then offer to bring her to church to get closer with you Lord. I surrender my will to you and ask you to take full control of the situation and just guide me to do the right things. Thank you so much for what you have already done and I know for a fact that you listen and answer prayers because it has happened with ### coming back. However, we must address the nature of your relationship. As believers, we are called to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" As you consider rekindling this relationship, it's crucial that both of you are believers, committed to pursuing godliness together.

You mentioned that you want to build confidence in ###'s feelings before inviting her to church. While your intentions may be good, we must remember that our primary goal should be to glorify God and grow in our relationship with Him. Psalm 37:4 WEB tells us, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you both draw closer to God, He will align your desires with His will.

We also want to address the issue of jealousy you mentioned. Jealousy is a natural human emotion, but it can lead to destructive behaviors if not dealt with. Proverbs 27:4 WEB says, "Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; but who is able to stand before jealousy?" If you're struggling with jealousy, we encourage you to confess this to God and seek His help in overcoming it.
