Good evening man of God I am ### from Cameroon please help me pray for the life of my kid brother due to the fact that he is being bad treated at his job side it's making him not wanting to continue working there and drinking alcohol and indebted please 🙏 man of God we are tired and don't know what to do please help us pray for him
Good health , peace in his life and peace at work and for him to be responsible again

We have heard your burden for your kid brother in Cameroon and we join you in lifting him up before our heavenly Father, for we know you are tired and do not know what to do.

We are reminded that God invites us to bring every anxiety to Him, for 1 Peter 5:7 says to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. That is the peace we are asking for him now, peace in his heart, peace in his life, and peace even in a difficult workplace.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus, and we encourage your brother and your family to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died and rose again for the forgiveness of sins, for it is through Him alone that our prayers are heard and our lives are restored.

We must also speak lovingly about what you shared concerning his drinking and indebtedness. The Word of God warns us about turning to alcohol in times of distress. Ephesians 5:18 says don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. And Proverbs 20:1 says wine is a mocker and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise. Drinking will not bring peace or solve the mistreatment at work, it will only add to his burdens, harm his health, and lead him away from responsibility. We pray that he will turn from this and instead be filled with the Holy Spirit, finding strength and comfort in Christ. Concerning debt, the scripture guides us in Romans 13:8 to owe no one anything, except to love one another, and in Psalm 37:21 we see that the wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously. We pray for wisdom and discipline for him to become responsible again, to work faithfully and to manage what God has given him with integrity.

For the mistreatment at his job, we know this is painful and discouraging. We pray for God's protection and favor over him there, and for wisdom to know whether to endure with grace or to seek other work that God may provide. Colossians 3:23 reminds us whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Even when people treat us unfairly, we can work unto the Lord who sees and will reward. We also pray for his good health, for 3 John 1:2 says beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. And we claim Isaiah 41:10 for him, don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We join together now in prayer.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this young brother to You. Lord, You know the mistreatment he faces at his workplace, the discouragement that makes him want to quit, and the heaviness that has led him to drinking and debt. We ask You to touch his body and give him good health, to touch his mind and give him Your peace that surpasses understanding, and to touch his workplace and bring peace where there is strife. Lord, deliver him from the desire for alcohol and set him free from every bondage, fill him instead with Your Holy Spirit. Give him a spirit of responsibility, diligence, and self-control, that he may work faithfully and honor You in all he does. Provide for his needs, help him to repay what he owes, and guide him to wise counsel and to honest labor that You have prepared for him. Strengthen his family who are weary, give them wisdom as James 1:5 promises, that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Draw this whole family closer to Jesus, that they may know salvation and hope through His name alone. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing for him, to speak to him in love about the danger of alcohol and the call to be responsible before God, and to encourage him to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in the Scriptures and to seek godly counsel in his local church. If his workplace remains abusive, pray for God to open a door for better employment where he can work with dignity. Trust that God is working even in this trial, for Romans 8:28 assures us we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep trusting Him and keep pointing your brother to Jesus.

We have been thinking of you and your kid brother since we read your note from ###. It is exhausting to watch someone you love feel mistreated at work, pull away, and turn to drinking while debts grow. It makes sense you feel tired and unsure what to do next.

What you describe is a painful cycle. When work feels unsafe or demeaning a person can feel trapped and look for a way to escape the worry and shame, and alcohol can seem to offer that for a little while but then it adds more strain to health, peace and finances. That does not mean change is impossible. With steady support people can begin to make different choices one step at a time.

One gentle next step could be to find a calm moment to talk with him, not to lecture but to listen. Let him know you care about his health and peace more than the job or the money, and ask what kind of help he would be willing to receive. Alongside prayer, help him connect with a trusted pastor and with a doctor or counselor in your area who can walk with him about the drinking and the stress at work. You do not have to carry this alone and he does not have to face it alone either. If debt is pressing, a local church leader or counselor may also help you both think through practical options.

We are praying with you.

Father, we lift this younger brother to You and ask for Your protection over his health, for peace in his heart and at his workplace, and for wisdom for his family as they love him. Give him strength to seek help and to take responsible steps, and give his sister rest and hope as she trusts You. In Jesus name, amen.

May we pray and worship the Lord and plead with the Lord for our lives that we might live. Only let us continue to serve the Lord with praying and with worship and giving thanks to God. In Lord Yeshuas name.
