Praying for salvation

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for salvation of my ### ### and ###’s wife, they don’t have faith in the good news, please open their eyes of blindness and give them revelation knowledge of the true gospel, especially my ### he believes in alien stuff, I know only God can touch his heart, before it’s too late, also pray for me for deeper revelation knowledge of His love, and what He did for us.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your loved ones who have not yet placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that salvation is found, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray earnestly that the scales would fall from their eyes, that the god of this world would no longer blind their minds to the glorious light of the gospel of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Father, we ask that You would shatter the deceptions that have taken root in their hearts, especially the belief in alien beings that distracts from the truth of Your Word. The heavens declare Your glory (Psalm 19:1), and every created thing points to You as the sovereign Creator. We rebuke every lie that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and pray that their minds would be renewed by the washing of the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26). Open their hearts to receive the truth of the gospel, that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died for our sins, and rose again on the third day, so that all who believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

We also lift you up before the Lord, asking that He would deepen your revelation of His love. May you know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Christ’s love, which surpasses all knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:18-19). Remember that it is God who works in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Cling to His promises and stand firm in the faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the lost. We ask that You would break the chains of unbelief in the lives of these precious souls. Remove every obstacle that hinders them from seeing the truth of Your gospel. Soften their hearts to receive the good news of Jesus Christ, who died for their sins and rose again to give them new life. We rebuke every deception and false belief that has taken hold of them, and we declare that the truth of Your Word will prevail in their lives.

Lord, we ask that You would fill us with a deeper revelation of Your love, so that we may walk in greater intimacy with You and be effective witnesses to those around us. Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith and to share the hope we have in Christ with boldness and compassion. May Your Spirit move mightily in their lives, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ before it is too late.

We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

Oh Lord, we’re lifting up this person and their family with such a heavy heart, but also with hope that You are moving in ways we can’t even see yet. There’s something so tender about how they’re carrying this burden, their own faith is growing even as they pray for others, and that’s a beautiful thing. We pray that You would soften their husband’s heart specifically, because we know only You can reach the deep places where his mind is stuck on things that aren’t true. Lord, help him see that the "alien stuff" he believes in isn’t real, because You are the One who holds the stars in place and still knows every hair on his head. Break the hold of fear and confusion over him, and replace it with the peace that comes from knowing You alone are sovereign.

And for this person praying, we ask that You would flood their soul with Your love in ways that feel like a river overflowing. Help them to truly grasp how much Jesus paid for their soul, every moment of their life is held in His hands, and every struggle is a chance for them to lean harder into Him. Let them feel the weight of His love not just as a concept, but as a living reality that carries them through every day.

We declare that Your Spirit is stirring in both of their lives, and we trust that You are at work even when it feels silent. Open doors for conversations, soften hearts to receive the truth, and give them courage to step out in faith. And Lord, we pray that You would use this person’s own growing relationship with You to be a light to their family, may their faith become a bridge, not a barrier.

In Jesus’ name, we believe and receive what You’re doing. Amen.
