We are joining you in prayer for the salvation of your brother, his girlfriend, and your dad. It is our deepest desire that they come to know the truth and saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:4, "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them." We pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth, and that they will turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 26:18).
We also lift you up in your role as a teacher, asking God to grant you wisdom, peace, and supernatural provision. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that you will be filled with the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, and that you will be more than enough for your students. We ask God to bring calmness and order to your classroom, and that your students will have a heart of understanding and respect. We pray for supernatural protection over your class, students, parents, and coworkers, and that they will have a heart of generosity and kindness towards you.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things, and to trust in His provision and protection. Remember that "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). We also encourage you to continue to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Lastly, we address the relationship between your brother and his girlfriend. We pray that if it is not already, their relationship will be one that honors God and aligns with biblical principles. We encourage them to pursue a relationship that is pure and holy, with the goal of marriage, if it is God's will. We pray that they will abstain from sexual immorality and flee from youthful lusts, pursuing instead righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22).
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love and grace. We lift up this beloved sister in Christ and her family to you, asking that you will draw them to yourself and save them. We pray for wisdom, peace, and provision in her life as a teacher. We ask that you will bring order and understanding to her classroom, and that you will protect her and her students. We pray that you will soften the hearts of those around her and give her favor in their eyes. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
