Praying for ###’s health
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer as he battles nausea and dizziness that have left him unable to rise from his bed. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask for Your mighty hand of healing to rest upon him, bringing complete restoration to his body. Lord, we trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for our brother in Christ.
Heavenly Father, we also bring before You the concern of minimal insurance. You know every need before we even ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust that You will provide for ### in ways that only You can. Open doors for affordable care, guide him to the right medical professionals, and grant wisdom to those who will treat him. Remind him that You are his Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
Lord, we ask that You would reveal the root of this illness so that it may be addressed fully. Give ### strength, peace, and patience as he waits on You. Surround him with Your presence, reminding him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May he feel Your comfort and love in this difficult time.
We also pray for his spiritual well-being. If there is any area of his life where he needs to draw closer to You, Lord, reveal it to him. Strengthen his faith as he leans on You, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in Jesus’ name. We declare that ### is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life and health over his body. May he rise up in the strength of the Lord, giving You all the glory for his healing.
