Disciple of Prayer
I request y'all to pray for ###, she's just ### years child. She's very sick ,due to perforated appendix and now developed septic shock. Her infection and inflammatory markers is high . But a miracle has occurred it was very high but today has reduced a lot , Praise the lord. Now the doctors have planned to put her on ECMO, she also has Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, and her saturation is low . Her brain isn't getting enough oxygen leading to seizures. Please pray the procedures go well and heal her completely. Take away all her infection, let Jesus' sacred blood flow through her . Praise the lord, he does great miracles.

We lift up this precious little one to our Heavenly Father, who alone holds the power over life and death. We rejoice in the miracle already witnessed, the reduction of infection markers, and we give thanks for the skilled hands of the medical team caring for her. Yet we know the battle is still fierce, and we come boldly before the throne of grace on her behalf.

Father, we ask You to guide every decision the doctors make regarding ECMO and every other treatment. Let Your wisdom flow through them as they seek to stabilize her condition. We pray against the effects of sepsis, ARDS, and oxygen deprivation, command healing to every cell in her body. Where there is inflammation, bring soothing relief. Where there is infection, send Your cleansing fire. Where her brain has been deprived of oxygen, restore full function and reverse any damage. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we plead the power of His sacred blood over her, that it would cleanse, protect, and renew her from the inside out.

Lord, we also pray for peace and strength for her family during this agonizing trial. May they feel Your presence surrounding them, reminding them that You are the God who performs miracles. We rebuke fear, doubt, and despair in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promise that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).

We declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and her life has purpose. We ask You to complete the healing You have begun, that she may grow strong and thrive to fulfill the plans You have for her. In the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, we pray. Amen.

We're holding your family and little ### close to our hearts right now. The details you shared are heavy, and we can only imagine how exhausting this vigil must be for everyone who loves her. Yet we noticed the hope woven through your words, the way you paused to praise God that her markers have already come down some. That isn't a small thing. In a storm like this, even a single shift in the right direction can be a gift worth anchoring yourself to for the next hour.

When a child is this sick, it's easy for parents and family to feel alone in their fear even while surrounded by medical staff. Some of the strongest comfort we've seen in situations like yours comes when people stop just saying they're praying and actually gather, even briefly, to pray in someone's presence. If you have a friend, a pastor, or someone from your church who can simply sit with you in the ICU waiting room and pray quietly with you, not long or polished prayers but real ones, that physical presence can hold you steady when your own prayer feels like just groaning. Let people carry that with you right now.

The ECMO team and ICU staff are walking through an extremely complex set of procedures, and we're grateful for the skill God has given them. Keep asking them your questions; you don't have to understand everything, but staying informed about what each machine and number means for that day can sometimes quiet the mind's worst spins.

Father, we ask You to sustain ###'s small body through each procedure. Give her doctors steady hands and clear wisdom, and let her oxygen levels stabilize so her brain can rest and her lungs can begin to heal. Quiet the seizures and drive out this infection completely. Hold her family when they cannot hold themselves, and let them feel Your nearness in the people You put around them. In Jesus' name, amen.

This very sickness is not beyond the reach of the leaves of the tree which are for the healing of the nations. Christ Jesus has healing in His very garments, in the hem of His robe, in the least things about Him, and how much more in the touch of His hand! When the doctors speak of ECMO and failing lungs and seizures, remember that the Great Physician needs no machines to steady the crashing frame of a little child. He who made that child can sustain her with His own right hand.

The piercing truth is this: when He healed the palsied man, He first spoke pardon, then bade him rise. Pardon and healing stand together as twin mercies from the throne. Cry to Him not merely for the mending of the body, but that His precious blood should speak peace to the soul, then the healing shall follow after as surely as daybreak follows the night. You have already seen a miracle in the falling markers; praise Him for that, and let that praise become a chariot to bear your faith to His feet for the full deliverance.

He took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever fled. The contact was established, flesh with flesh, the Incarnate God touching a frail woman. So now, in spirit, He is able to lay hold of this suffering child and lift her from the very jaws of the grave. The tendency of healing is always toward service, and what sweet service may yet come from this trial! Do not look upon her age as a hindrance; a child may be a chosen vessel for His glory. What the physicians call sepsis and respiratory distress, He calls an occasion to show that His leaves are medicine indeed.

There are seasons when the healing power is more than usually manifest, days of visitation, acceptable days of salvation. Seek His face now, for the morning light is His voice saying, "Seek My face." Let every breath of that little one be a prayer, every beep of the monitor a petition. The devil would have you inattentive to the promise, but lean forward to catch every syllable of His Word: "I am the Lord that healeth thee." May the sacred blood of Jesus flow through her veins with a power that no earthly remedy can match, and may she rise from that bed to be a living leaf from the tree of life, testifying that the Lord alone performs wonders.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Praise God for the mercy He has already shown in the lessening of those dreadful numbers. Do not lose heart, but let this small respite strengthen your faith. When the parents of Moses saw their child was a proper child, they hid him by faith, defying the king's command, because they perceived the grace of God upon him from his very swaddling-clothes. So now, see in this little one a proper child, loved by the Lord, and by faith entrust her entirely to His care. The physicians do their work, and we pray that the procedures go well, but it is the Lord who heals, not machines or medicine alone. The cross of Christ is her true protection; no amulet, no scarlet thread, no superstitious folly, but the sacred blood you have invoked will speak for her.

I exhort you, then: become as a little child yourself. You have asked for prayer with fervor and humility, and in this you show the simplicity that Christ set before His disciples when He placed a child in their midst. A little child is free from pride, from vainglory, from the madness of envy. So stand before the Lord with that same lowly spirit, not giving way to wrath or despair, but clothed in longsuffering. For the longsuffering person is high as adamant, and no dart of sorrow can wound him mortally. If you become furious with God or men, you make yourself a child in wickedness; but if you bear this trial with patience, you become a true child of the kingdom.

We will join our prayers to yours, that the Lord, who as a young Child fled into Egypt to preserve His life, would now preserve this young child from the grasp of death. Let us plead for a complete healing: that the infection be driven out, that the lungs be restored, that the brain receive its needed oxygen and the seizures cease. Let Jesus' own precious blood, which we receive in the Mystery, flow through her as a spiritual medicine, cleansing her body and soul. Yet even as we ask with boldness, let us say from the heart, "Thy will be done." For whether He raise her up to walk in health or take her to Himself, He doth all things well, and she is His beloved child, sealed with the anointing of the Spirit. Do not defile your own soul with the mud of anxious complaint, but honour God by trust.

Therefore, watch and pray. The three days' sickness of the soul is cured by repentance; the body's sickness by the prayer of faith offered by the Church. Stand firm, and do not cease to cry out, "Lord, if You will, You can make her clean." I bid you give thanks in everything, for nothing so becomes a Christian as to praise God in the midst of the furnace.

The cry of a heartbroken parent echoes through these words, and it is not lost on me that the God who made heaven and earth knows that ache intimately. He watched His own creation turn from life to death, and He called out, “Where are you?” Not because He did not know, but because He wanted the one He loved to come out of hiding and trust Him again. In this moment, you are not hiding; you are calling out, and that is an act of faith. Hold fast to that.

You have already given thanks for a mercy: the markers that were dangerously high have come down. That is not a small thing. In a world that often tries to explain away everything as chance, a child of God sees the hand of the Father. The same One who spoke the universe into existence, who needs no origin Himself because He is the eternal I AM, has inclined His ear to this hospital room. Every good gift, every downward trend on a chart, every steady moment for a tiny body fighting so hard, comes from Him.

The doctors are doing what wisdom and training allow, and they plan to use extraordinary measures like ECMO because this little one is precious. We pray for skill for their hands and clarity for their minds. But your request goes deeper: let Jesus’ sacred blood flow through her. That blood is the true healing stream. Long ago, humanity chose a path that brought suffering and death into the world, and by one tree we were severed from Life. But by another tree, the cross, the way back was opened. The Son of God, born of a woman in a way no mere biology can explain, came to reverse the curse. His blood speaks a better word than the infection, the inflammation, the struggling lungs. It speaks cleansing, wholeness, and restoration.

Do not overlook the wonder that God strives with us at all. Who are we that He should press in close, bring comfort to a family in anguish, and stir His people to pray? Yet He does. He is not distant. He feels the labor of this ordeal with you, like a Father who sobs when His child is in pain. And He has a future in view. Scripture hints at a tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, a promise that one day, every broken body will be made new, and no child will suffer again. We long for that day, and we ask for a foretaste of it now.

So we join you and ask: Lord, pour out mercy on this precious little girl. Command the raging storm of sepsis to be still. Drive out every trace of infection. Restore her lungs, calm her brain, and let every organ receive the oxygen it needs. Give the medical team steady hands and supernatural insight. And in the waiting, wrap this family in a peace that passes understanding. May they see again and again the fingerprints of a God who does great miracles. Amen.
