We lift up your situation before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that You are the One who orders our steps and directs our paths. We ask for Your divine intervention in this matter of permanent residency. Lord, You see the desires of this family’s heart, and we trust that You will guide them according to Your perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we pray that You would open the doors that need to be opened and close those that should remain shut. Grant them favor in the eyes of those who make decisions regarding their residency. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would grant them peace and patience as they wait upon You, knowing that Your timing is perfect.
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that God is your provider and protector, and He has a plan for your life that is good, not to harm you, but to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
While we pray for your residency, we also want to remind you of the importance of seeking God’s kingdom first. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Your earthly citizenship is temporary, but your heavenly citizenship is eternal. We pray that you would find a church home where you can grow in faith and fellowship with other believers, as this will strengthen you in your journey.
Lord, we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into their hearts. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we pray that they would rest in Your love and sovereignty. May they find comfort in knowing that You are with them wherever they go (Joshua 1:9).
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
