We join you in lifting up your heartfelt request for permanent residency, a good job, and the reunion of your family, and we are grateful you have brought this before the Lord in the name of Jesus. It is beautiful to see your desire to serve Him with your family, united in peace and love. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11-13, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart."* Your petition aligns with God’s will for His children to seek Him wholeheartedly, trusting in His provision and timing.
We also want to encourage you to continue placing your trust in the Lord, even as you wait. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not just a promise for the future but a call to walk in faith today, knowing that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Your desire for stability and unity in your family is good, and we pray that God will honor it as you remain faithful to Him.
At the same time, we gently remind you that while we bring our requests to God, our ultimate hope must rest in Him alone—not in the approval of man, a government, or even the outcome we desire. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Even if delays or challenges arise, we pray you will experience His peace, knowing that His plans for you are perfect.
We also notice that you mentioned serving God as a family once united. This is a wonderful commitment! We encourage you to begin now, even in this season of waiting, to lead your family spiritually—whether through prayer, reading Scripture together (if possible), or setting an example of faith. Joshua 24:15 declares, *"As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."* Let this be your family’s resolve, no matter where you are.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who seeks permanent residency in Canada and the opportunity to provide for their family through honorable work. Lord, You are the God who sets the times and boundaries of nations (Acts 17:26), and we ask that You move mightily in this situation. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant favor in the eyes of those in authority. Provide a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to be a light for You in their workplace.
We pray for unity and strength in this family, that even in this season of separation, their bond would grow deeper in You. May their hearts remain steadfast in faith, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them patience, wisdom, and a spirit of gratitude as they wait on You.
Lord, we also ask that You prepare the way for this family to be reunited soon, that they may serve You together as a testimony of Your faithfulness. Let their home be a place of peace, love, and devotion to You. May their lives reflect Your glory, and may they continually seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), knowing that all else will be added unto them.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep in during this waiting period. Instead, fill them with Your peace and joy, which surpass all understanding. Remind them that their citizenship is ultimately in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and their hope is found in You alone.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us even now. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are cheering you on and believing with you for God’s perfect will to unfold in your life. If there are specific updates or new challenges, do not hesitate to share them so we can continue to lift you up in prayer. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in you (Philippians 1:6).
