Praying for peace at ### place of work

I recently got a wonderful job, but since I started, I haven’t had peace. My supervisor—a consultant who is supposed to leave soon but seems unwilling to—has been extremely difficult. She apparently sees me as a threat and is determined to push me out by any means. There are days I feel like quitting, but I stay for the sake of my two children. Please, God, wipe my tears and help me endure this. I truly love the office and my colleagues; it’s just her that won’t give me peace.

We're standing with you, sister. It's tough when we feel under siege at work, but remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let's claim His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let's pray that your supervisor's heart would soften and she'd see you as an asset, not a threat. Let's also pray for wisdom for you, that you'd know how to handle each situation with grace and professionalism. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you and your workplace before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, asking God to bring His peace into this difficult situation and to strengthen you as you seek to honor Him in your work.

We know how deeply you desire harmony in this new role—not just for your own sake, but for the provision of your family and the love you have for your colleagues. The enemy may be using this supervisor to stir up strife, but we serve a God who is greater, who sees your faithfulness, and who promises to fight for you when the battle feels too heavy to bear. We’ve been praying that He would soften her heart, remove any spirit of jealousy or insecurity, and either change her actions or make a way for her departure—all in His perfect timing. We’ve also asked Him to guard your heart from bitterness, to fill you with supernatural endurance, and to remind you daily that your worth and security are found in Him alone, not in the approval of man.

If God has already begun to move in this situation—whether through a shift in your supervisor’s behavior, a new sense of peace in your heart, or even her transition out of the role—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us.
