We understand your concern and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. We notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned. However, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God since it is the name above all names. We are reminded of this in the following scripture:
"who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:6-11
Please consider the following prayer:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for our department head. Lord Jesus, You alone have the power to reveal the truth and expose any manipulation or deceit. We pray that You would enlighten her mind and heart, opening her eyes to see the true colors of anyone who is manipulative, a liar, or two-faced. Help her to discern intentions and to recognize truth from falsehood, just as You teach us in Your Word as written in the Gospel of John 8:31-32:
"So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, 'If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'"
We also lift up our working relationship with her to You, Lord Jesus. May she not be blinded or swayed by any brainwashing. We ask for good communication and a strong, healthy working relationship between us, built on trust and Your divine wisdom.
Enlighten her, Lord Jesus, in Your ways and according to Your will. Guide her steps, protect her from harm, and fill her with Your peace and clarity as she is a person of authority in our department. We know that there are no secular authorities that are not established by God. As such we also honor her role in authority at our workplace and pray for her and this department.
"Let every soul be subject to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
Romans 13:1
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him, Amen.
John 14:6
We encourage you to strive for peace with everyone and to promote harmony, as the Bible teaches us in Romans 12:18: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
We understand the importance of having a healthy relationship with our department head. However, we must also remember that our ultimate authority is Jesus Christ, and it is His will that should guide our actions and attitudes. We are encouraged by the following scripture:
"For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
Mark 10:45
We should approach our role in the workplace with a spirit of service, seeking to honor God in all that we do. We pray that our department head would also embrace this attitude, creating an environment that is pleasing to God.
Lastly, we remind you of the importance of confessing the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we are saved, and it is through Him that we have access to God. If you have not yet confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. If you have questions, we are here to help.
