Praying for others

God values the sincerity and love behind our prayers, regardless of our feelings towards the person we are praying for. The Bible encourages us to pray for all people, including those we may not like or consider our enemies.

1. **1 Timothy 2:1-2** - "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."

2. **Matthew 5:44** - "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,"

3. **Romans 12:14** - "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them."

4. **1 Peter 3:9** - "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay with a blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing."

Praying for others, even those we struggle with, aligns us with God's heart and demonstrates His love and grace. It's a powerful way to transform our own hearts and reflect Christ's love to the world.

Jesus told each one of us to pray without ceasing. Pray for yourself not to fall into temptation, pray for all your loved ones, saved and unsaved to be ready to see Jesus coming in the clouds to take us all home to heaven. Pray for all unbelievers who are so far away from Jesus. For your nextdoor neighbors and invite them to church, pray for the faculty at school where you attend. They need Jesus. Most of them are atheists, agnostics, and humanists. Pray for everyone you know. Jesus will hear from heaven and will hear your prayer.
