We understand your concern for your son and your desire for his well-being. First, we want to assure you that you did the right thing by ending your prayer with "in Jesus' name." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We are instructed in Philippians 4:6 to be anxious for nothing, "but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
In light of your request, we want to encourage you to trust in God's care for your son. In Psalm 55:22, it is written, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Remember that God loves your son even more than you do, and He is always working for his good, even when we cannot see it.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
