Praying for my ###

Please pray for my daughter’s energy and mental well-being. We have struggled for years to figure out how to help her with energy and motivation. We are concerned how often she chooses to sleep instead of making plans and being more involved or productive with her free time. I’m not sure if this is a sign of depression or just a normal teenage stage, but it has been going on for a long while and it does seem abnormal. Praying for her healing and our guidance on how to best help her. Thank you in Jesus name amen.

We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the source of all wisdom and strength. It is clear how deeply you care for her, and we commend you for seeking God’s guidance in this situation. The struggles she faces with energy, motivation, and mental well-being are not uncommon, especially in this broken world where many young people grapple with unseen battles. However, we must remember that our hope is not in the patterns of this world but in the power of Christ, who can renew her mind and spirit.

First, we encourage you to continue seeking medical and professional guidance, as the Lord often uses doctors, counselors, and wise believers to bring healing. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* If depression or another underlying issue is at play, it is wise to address it with both prayer and practical steps, trusting that God can work through these means.

Yet we also recognize that spiritual and emotional struggles often go hand in hand. The enemy would love to keep her in a place of lethargy, discouragement, or isolation, but we stand against that in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Let us pray fervently for her mind to be guarded by the peace of God and for any spiritual oppression to be broken.

We also urge you to examine her heart and environment. Is she filling her mind with God’s Word, or is she consuming media, relationships, or influences that drain her spirit? Philippians 4:8 instructs us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."* Encourage her to replace passive habits with active pursuit of Christ—whether through worship, serving others, or engaging in wholesome activities that build her up.

As parents, you are called to lead her with love, patience, and firmness in the Lord. Colossians 3:21 warns, *"Fathers, don’t provoke your children, so that they won’t be discouraged."* While it is right to gently challenge her to steward her time well, do so in a way that points her to Christ rather than to guilt or shame. Remind her that her worth is found in Him, not in productivity or the approval of others.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for this precious daughter. Lord, You know her struggles—every moment of weariness, every battle in her mind, every time she has felt stuck or overwhelmed. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, mind, and spirit. If there is any physical or emotional root to her fatigue, reveal it and provide the right help. Break any spiritual strongholds of depression, apathy, or discouragement that may be weighing her down. Fill her with Your joy, which is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and renew her mind with Your truth.

Give her parents wisdom to guide her with grace and discernment. Show them how to balance encouragement with accountability, always pointing her to You. Surround her with godly influences—friends, mentors, or leaders who will spur her on in faith. Stir in her a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in purpose, not passivity.

Lord, we rebuke any lies the enemy has whispered to her—that she is stuck, that she has no future, or that her struggles define her. Replace those lies with Your truth: that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans for her welfare and not for calamity (Jeremiah 29:11), and that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her (Philippians 4:13).

We pray for a breakthrough in her energy and motivation, not for her own sake alone, but so she may glorify You in all she does. Raise her up as a light in this generation, equipped and empowered by Your Spirit. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and is at work, even when we cannot yet see the fruit. Keep speaking life over her, keep praying, and keep trusting that the Lord who began a good work in her will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If she is not already walking closely with the Lord, encourage her to surrender her heart fully to Him—true transformation begins there. We are with you in this fight, believing for her restoration and renewal.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your daughter up before our Heavenly Father. We know He sees her, He cares, and He's more than able to bring the help she needs. We've been where you are, watching a loved one struggle with energy and motivation, and it's tough. But remember, our God is a God of breakthroughs, and He's not finished with her yet.

We're praying for clarity, dear one. We're asking God to reveal any underlying causes for her fatigue and to guide you and her towards the right help. We're also binding any spirits of heaviness, depression, or apathy that may be weighing her down. We declare life, joy, and strength over her in Jesus' name!

Let's encourage her to seek God's face in this time. Maybe it's a season for her to slow down, to rest in Him, and to allow His love to fill her up again. We're praying for a renewed hunger for God's Word and a desire to walk in purpose. We're believing for a turnaround, for her to rise up and shine like the star she is, for the glory of God.

Keep holding on, dear friend. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep speaking life over her. We're standing with you, believing for her restoration and renewal. God's got this, and He's got her. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, knowing that He who began a good work in her will be faithful to complete it.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your daughter before the Father in prayer. It has been our privilege to stand alongside you in intercession for her energy, mental well-being, and the wisdom you need as parents to guide her through this season. We know how deeply you love her, and we’ve been praying that God would renew her strength, fill her with hope, and reveal His purpose for her life—even in the small, daily moments.

If you’ve seen any breakthroughs, no matter how small, we’d love to rejoice with you. Has the Lord brought clarity, comfort, or even a shift in her spirit? Sometimes answers come in unexpected ways—a conversation that opens doors, a newfound interest, or a peaceful assurance in your own heart. Please share your praise report with us so we can glorify God together for His faithfulness.

If this struggle is still heavy on your hearts, we want you to know we’re here to keep praying. Don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. The Lord hears every cry, and He is at work even when we can’t see it yet. We’ll continue to ask Him to surround your daughter with His peace, to guard her mind, and to give you divine discernment as you seek to support her. He is the God who restores, and we trust Him to lead your family step by step.

May He fill your home with His presence and remind each of you that you are deeply loved by Him. We’re holding fast to His promises for your daughter’s future, believing that He who began this good work in her will carry it to completion.

In Jesus Name.
