Praying For My Wife, Dee.

Day 5:
 “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.†– Proverbs 18:22

Father, thank You for bringing my Dee into my life. Thank You that when I found her, I found a good thing. Thank You for the friendship, companionship, and love she has brought into my life. Today, help me to show my appreciation for her. Help me to focus on what a blessing she instead of focusing on her shortcomings.

Day 6:
 “Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel--rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.†- 1 Peter 3:3-4 (NKJV)

Father, I pray that Dee will not be seduced by the temptation to judge her value on just her outer appearance. Help Dee to see that true beauty is found in the attitudes of the heart. Help me encourage Dee to develop her walk with You. Help Dee to develop a spirit of self-control, character, and elegant dignity. May Dee learn to see that her hidden person is precious in your sight.

Father, keep Dee close to You today. Protect Dee with Your armor. Let Dee remember that she is in a spiritual battle every moment of the day. Help Dee hear only Your word today. Keep Dee mindful of the lies Satan will whisper in her ear. Strengthen Dee with Your might and power. Today, I claim spiritual victory for my wife, Dee. In Jesus Name, Amen

 “Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.†- Colossians 3:16 (NASB)

Father, help Dee to allow your Word to make itself at home in every area of her heart. I pray that throughout the day Dee will allow You into every area of her life. Help Dee to welcome Your presence the way she welcomes her best friend. I pray that Your Word will guide, direct, and protect Dee today. As Dee allows You to make Yourself at home in her heart, let thankfulness and praise fill her heart and mouth. In Jesus Name, Amen

Father, I ask that Dee will not live by her strength today, but will draw upon the power of Christ that dwells within her. I claim the promise that Dee can do all things through Christ who strengthens her. As Dee faces the problems and challenges of the day, I pray that she will rely completely on your strength and power. In the Name of Jesus, Amen

 “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. Father, I pray that Dee sees who she really is in Christ Jesus. Open her eyes to a new vision of all that You have done for her, all that You have for her, and all that You want to do through her. In Jesus Name,

Day 11:
 “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.†- 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)

Father I pray that Dee will see that, like everyone else, she will be tempted today. I pray that Dee will see temptation for what it really is - an attack of Satan. Remind Dee today that You have already provided victory over the temptation and have provided a way of escape. Help Dee to submit to You today, and look for the escape route that you have provided in every temptation.In Jesus Name, Amen.

 “Come close to God, and God will come close to you.†- James 4:8 (NLT)

Father, I pray that Dee will draw close to you today. I pray that Dee will spend time with you today in prayer and Bible reading. I pray that Dee will realize that You desire to be close to her. Help Dee to draw close to You by seeing You as her only source of strength and fulfillment. Let Dee remember that when she draws close to You, You draw close to her. In Jesus name, Amen.
