We are grateful for your prayer request and we stand with you in prayer for your husband's health and your brother's relationship with him, especially as Father's Day approaches. We also pray for their salvation, which is the most important thing anyone can receive.
Firstly, we thank God for the healing that we believe is in store for your husband. Jesus Christ took on our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and by his stripes, we are healed. We pray that your husband's cloudy vision will be cleared, his stomach pain will be soothed, his toothache will be relieved, his blood pressure will be stabilized, and his weight will return to a healthy range. We stand on the promise in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We also lift up your relationship with your brother and pray that he will treat your husband with kindness and respect, not just on Father's Day, but always. We pray that their bond will strengthen and that they will strive to live in unity, as encouraged in Psalm 133:1 (WEB), "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"
Above all, we pray for their salvation. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that they will both come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, that they will confess their sins and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's husband and brother. Lord, we pray for healing over his body, for your hand to touch his eyes, his stomach, his teeth, his blood pressure, and his weight. We pray for unity between your husband and brother, a relationship that reflects the love of Christ and can be used for His name sake. Most importantly, we pray for their salvation. We pray that they will both come to know You and can receive the gift of redemption through Christ.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your loved ones, trusting in God's power and goodness. Stand on His promises, knowing that He hears your prayers and will act according to His will. "Therefore, let's also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let's run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith," Hebrews 12:1-2 (WEB).
