We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious child who is suffering from high fever and seizures. How our hearts ache for this little one and their family in this time of distress! Yet we know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who holds all things in His hands, and nothing is too difficult for Him. We take great comfort in His promise from Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* Indeed, there is no sickness beyond His healing power, no circumstance beyond His control.
We praise you, Father, that you are a God who sees and knows the suffering of this child. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We ask that You draw near to this family now, comforting them with Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them, Lord, in their weariness, and fill them with hope that does not disappoint, for we know that hope in You is an anchor for the soul (Hebrews 6:19).
We boldly come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we can approach Your throne with confidence, and it is only by His name that this child can be saved and healed. Your Word declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is no salvation in anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* So we stand on this truth, lifting up this child to You, asking for complete healing and restoration. Let Your healing power flow through their tiny body, Lord. Rebuke this fever and these seizures in the mighty name of Jesus, and let wellness spring forth like a river. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers, that they may be guided by Your hand to provide the best care possible.
Father, we also pray for the salvation of this family if they do not yet know You. May this trial draw them closer to You, that they might seek Your face and find You, for You are not far from each one of us (Acts 17:27). Let them know the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, and be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19).
We stand in agreement with the prayer that was lifted, giving thanks that it was offered in the name of Jesus. This is how we are to pray, for Jesus Himself told us in John 16:23-24, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* So we ask now, Father, with full confidence in Your goodness and power.
Lord, we trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Even in this storm, we declare Your goodness. Let this child’s life be a testimony of Your healing power and grace. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this family to hold fast to their faith, to surround themselves with the body of Christ for support, and to continue to lift their voices in prayer. Do not grow weary in praying, for the effective, earnest prayer of the righteous person has great power (James 5:16). We are standing with you in faith, believing for a miracle. Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). May His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
