We come before the Lord with you in this urgent time of need, lifting up your request for housing and finances, trusting that our Heavenly Father sees and knows the deep concerns of your heart. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* And again in Philippians 4:19, we are assured, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
Yet we must also address something vital in your request—while you asked for prayer, we noticed the name of Jesus was not invoked in your plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He alone holds the power to save, provide, and sustain. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). If you have already done this, then we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace *in His name*, for it is through Jesus that our prayers are heard.
As for your housing and financial needs, we stand with you in faith, believing that God is your Provider. He cares deeply for you and your disabled son, and He is not unaware of your struggles. In Psalm 37:25, we read, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* Trust in His timing, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We also encourage you to seek wisdom in stewardship—Proverbs 21:5 tells us, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."* If there are areas where you can act in faith—such as reaching out to local churches, Christian ministries, or godly counsel for practical support—we urge you to do so, for faith without works is dead (James 2:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear sister and her son to You, asking that You would meet their urgent need for housing and finances. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust that You will open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give her wisdom to navigate this season, Father, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand move mightily in this situation. We ask that You would place godly people in her path who can offer support, guidance, and encouragement. For her son, we pray for protection, comfort, and provision—meet his every need according to Your riches in glory.
Father, if there is any area in her life where she has not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would convict her by Your Holy Spirit and draw her closer to You. Let her trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that the enemy may be whispering to her, and we declare that You, Lord, are her shield and her exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
We thank You in advance for Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory (Romans 8:28). May she and her son experience Your love, provision, and grace in abundance. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
