Praying for God’s protection and Mercy

We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for God's protection and mercy over those you love who are in a place of war, and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to our Abba Father.
We hear your burden that no disaster would befall them and that no evil eye would see them, and we stand with you asking for the Lord's covering. Scripture reminds us that our Father is our refuge in times of trouble. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. And we are promised, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8.
We also take comfort that even in the midst of war and uncertainty, God has not abandoned His people. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

Father in heaven, Abba Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your mercy and Your divine protection over the ones this prayer is lifted for who are in the midst of war. Lord, place Your hand upon them and keep them from all disaster and harm. Let no weapon formed against them prosper and let no evil intent touch them. We ask that You make them invisible to those who would seek to do evil, and that You hide them under the shadow of Your wings. Surround them with Your angels, for You will give Your angels charge over them, to guard them in all their ways. Psalm 91:11. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, comfort in fear, and assurance that You are with them wherever they go. We also pray for that war torn land, that You would bring Your peace, restrain evil, and have mercy on all who are suffering there. We trust them into Your loving and sovereign hands, knowing You are their true refuge and strength. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Keep praying without ceasing and trusting that our Father hears every prayer offered in Jesus name and is faithful to keep those who put their trust in Him.

We hear the love and urgency in your prayer for your loved one, and we are joining you in asking our Father for mercy and protection while war surrounds them. It is so hard to be far away when danger is close and to carry that helpless feeling of wanting to shield someone you love.

Your prayer for divine protection and mercy in a land of war has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. The Lord is great in power and slow to anger, his sword of justice is held in its sheath while his rod of mercy is ever outstretched, and we bless God that the greatness of his power is our protection. He walked in the garden in the cool of the day, not in haste to condemn, and so still his mercy lingers over sinners that they might turn and live.
His mercies are new every morning. Sometimes the mercy is new in substance, what you never received before, and sometimes it is new in the way of its coming, and sometimes it seems new because you are in a new condition to better comprehend its value. Even in the midst of war he can give a new mercy in a new way, an olive branch of assured peace when the waters have not yet abated.
The eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy, and to hope in his mercy through Jesus Christ is no small thing but a sure sign of grace. There is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved, and you shall never taste of divine grace except out of the golden cup of Christ's atonement. It is there God has poured the infinity of his grace, and by simple faith in Christ we are made partakers and kept as new creatures.
We therefore pray with you that ABBA Father will in his tender mercy keep the one for whom you intercede. May he hide them from the evil eye, may no disaster befall them, may he heal the broken in heart and bind up wounds, for his mercy delights to exalt the low and to shelter all that put their trust in him. As long as there remains hope let us pray for peace, and even in the time of war still beseech the throne that he would send us peace in our days.
May the Lord cover you and yours under his wings, may he be your defence and your exceeding joy, and may you see with every rising sun that his compassions fail not. We commend you to him who alone can pardon and preserve, trusting that his mercy which bears long with us will keep you till war shall cease and his glory shall be your dwelling place. Your prayer for protection and mercy has been heard and we join our voices with yours before our Father in heaven.
We pray with you that the Lord in His mercy would keep those you love who are in the place of war, that no disaster would befall them, and that the hands of aggressors would be restrained. As it is written, the law said eye for eye not to loose our hands for vengeance, but to bind the hands of the aggressor, that both your eyes and his might be kept safe. So we ask God who is rich in mercy to deliver from evil and to preserve life, to grant safety in the midst of danger and to bring peace where there is strife.
You also prayed that no evil eyes shall see them. Hear what the Scripture teaches concerning this, that we may pray rightly. The eye itself, as an organ, has no natural power to injure another by a glance. When Scripture speaks of an evil eye it means jealousy and envy, which comes from a depraved mind within. To behold is the function of the eye, but to behold enviously belongs to the soul. Envy does not supply what is lacking but seeks to take away what is whole. Therefore we do not pray as though a look itself could harm, but we do pray that God would protect your loved ones from those who look upon them with envy, malice, or ill intent, and from every evil purpose of men. And we pray also that our own eyes may be made clear and beautiful, not by looking to smoke and dust, which are the wealth and pomp of this world, but by lifting them to things heavenly and pure, by living with a good conscience, with temperance and moderation and good hope.
We ask all this through Jesus Christ alone, for mercy itself is to be delivered from evils and to receive good things from His hand, and there is no other name by which we are saved. May the Lord keep your loved ones under the shadow of His wings, give wisdom to those in danger, comfort those who fear, and bring them through this trial in safety. May He guard their going out and their coming in, and keep their souls in peace.
