Praying for emotional healing!

Good evening. I have been praying for a few weeks (I pray several times daily always), but have been praying for a relationship and the others involved. I have been seeing a wonderful lady for a couple of months. She has had a very difficult life from the time she was young. She has a ### year old daughter who is amazing. I am ### years older than her and we were raised completely differently. I was raised in a good loving Christian home and she was raised in a single parent home with no stability and no permanent father figure. She has only been in ### relationships and all of them were very hard and abusive on her. She has told me multiple times that she has strong feelings for me but is scared because of the way all of her other relationships have turned out. She has said several times that I was too good to be true. When we have a few days or a week where everything is perfect she locks up and pushes back against me thinking I am going to hurt her like the others. She had not dated at all for ### years since her last relationship ended. I feel like God put me in her path for a reason. Please pray for mental and emotional healing for her. And please pray that I will be the example to her and her daughter that they need in their lives. And please pray for my emotional health as I try to help them heal.

I am someone who does not trust anyone at all, and once trust is broken, it will never be regained. I can understand her fear and am praying for her.

Since there is no mention whether she is a believer or not, I am assuming that she isn't and I hope you can help to direct her to the Lord as well in her troubled moments, to seek His comfort and to let Him work on the fears. I am also praying for you for wisdom, peace, strength and a healthy community to support you too if that's what you need.

She believes there is a God but isn’t a Christian. I pray that I am the witness God made me to be. I know about being unequally yoked and I struggle with that. I do love her with everything I am and want His light to shine through me and positively influence her life. I really appreciate the prayers for both of us.
