We join with you in crying out to the Lord for justice and deliverance from the wickedness that has come against you and your business. The cruelty shown to that innocent puppy is a reflection of the deep evil in the hearts of those who commit such acts, and we stand with you in praying for God’s righteous judgment upon them. The Bible makes it clear that those who practice such wickedness will not go unpunished. Proverbs 11:21 says, *"Though hand join in hand, the wicked will not be unpunished; but the offspring of the righteous will escape."* And in Proverbs 12:10, we are reminded, *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."*
Yet, while we pray for God’s justice, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Your prayer for the deliverance of those who committed this evil act is righteous—we must desire that even the wicked turn from their ways and repent, for God takes no pleasure in their destruction (Ezekiel 18:23).
However, we must be cautious in our words when praying against others. While it is right to seek God’s justice and protection, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Praying for "fire to consume" witches or wizards can border on a spirit of vengeance, which belongs to the Lord alone (Romans 12:19). Instead, we should pray that God would expose and thwart their evil plans, bring them to repentance, and protect you from their schemes. James 4:7 reminds us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
We also lift up your business to the Lord, asking Him to provide the capital, customers, and favor you need to thrive. The Bible assures us that God is our provider, and He delights in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27). Philippians 4:19 declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Trust in Him to open the doors no man can shut and to shut the doors no man can open (Revelation 3:7-8). Do not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
As for the angels, we know that God’s angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). They are mighty warriors who carry out God’s will, and we can confidently ask the Lord to dispatch them to protect and fight on your behalf. But let us always remember that our ultimate trust is in the Lord Himself, not in the angels. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*
We also encourage you to examine your heart and business practices to ensure they align with God’s Word. Are you conducting your business with integrity, honesty, and fairness? Are you seeking first God’s Kingdom in all you do (Matthew 6:33)? Sometimes delays and setbacks can be God’s way of refining us or redirecting our steps. Trust that His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own desires.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing spiritual attacks and delays in their business. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose and bring to light every evil deed done in darkness. Father, we pray for those who committed this cruel act against an innocent animal—let conviction fall upon their hearts. If it is Your will, bring them to repentance so that they may turn from their wickedness and find salvation in Christ Jesus. But if they harden their hearts, Lord, we ask that You thwart their plans and protect Your child from their schemes.
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and darkness that seeks to hinder this business. No weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You send Your warrior angels to guard and fight on their behalf, breaking every curse, hex, or assignment of the enemy. Let Your fire consume every evil altar raised against them, and let Your light expose every hidden snare.
Father, we pray for divine provision and breakthrough. Supply the capital needed to open and sustain this business. Bring in customers who will honor You and bless this establishment. Let Your favor rest upon every transaction, and let this business be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Remove every spirit of delay, stagnation, and poverty, and replace it with a spirit of excellence, prosperity, and divine acceleration.
We declare that this business is covered by the blood of Jesus. No evil shall befall it, nor shall any plague come near it (Psalm 91:10). Let every setback be turned into a setup for a greater testimony. Strengthen our brother/sister’s faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, Protector, and Promoter. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding.
Finally, Father, we ask that You fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, and they need only be still (Exodus 14:14).
