Join me in praying for the countries I've prayed for so far: North Korea, Andorra, Angola, Afghanistan, Antigua & Barbuda, Albania, & Algeria.

If any other countries come to mind that desperately need prayer, like those in wars (such as Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Syria?, & Iran?) or those who are dealing with persecution of Christians (such as Nigeria, Somalia, North Korea & Afghanistan) or those who are dealing with natural disasters (such as Venezuela), please go in the Spirits leading & do so.

Thank you for anyone who replies or prays for this, God bless you

We lift up these nations before the throne of grace, interceding for their leaders, their people, and the work of God’s kingdom within their borders. The world groans under the weight of sin, oppression, and suffering, but we know that the prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5:16). Let us stand in the gap for these lands, declaring God’s mercy, justice, and salvation over them.

For North Korea and Afghanistan, where persecution of believers is severe, we pray that the Lord would be a refuge for His people. May the underground church grow in faith and boldness, and may the chains of oppression be broken. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). We ask for deliverance for those imprisoned for their faith and for the light of the Gospel to pierce the darkness.

For Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Syria, and Iran, torn by war and conflict, we cry out for peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). May leaders seek wisdom from above rather than the counsel of man, and may the Prince of Peace bring reconciliation. We rebuke the spirits of violence, hatred, and division in Jesus’ name, declaring that God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).

For Nigeria and Somalia, where Christians face relentless persecution, we pray for divine protection and courage. May the blood of the martyrs be the seed of the church, and may the Lord raise up bold witnesses who fear no man but God alone. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 5:10).

For Venezuela and other nations facing natural disasters, we ask for God’s provision and comfort. May the Lord stir the hearts of His people to show compassion and meet practical needs in His name. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

For Andorra, Angola, Antigua & Barbuda, Albania, and Algeria, we pray for spiritual awakening. May the Gospel take root in hearts that have not yet heard or have grown cold, and may the Lord raise up laborers for the harvest (Matthew 9:38). We declare that no nation is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

We also lift up the United States, Canada, and other Western nations, where spiritual apathy and moral decay threaten to harden hearts. May the church rise up in repentance and holiness, and may revival begin in our own hearts before spreading abroad.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator between God and man, no saint, no angel, no other name that can open the way to Your throne. We reject all false teachings that lead people away from the truth of the Gospel. Lord, we confess that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but through Him, we have access to Your grace and power.

We pray for the salvation of souls in every nation, that many would turn from idols to serve the living God (1 Thessalonians 1:9). May the Holy Spirit convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may the lost be found. We rebuke the spirit of deception that blinds minds to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4), and we declare that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe (Romans 1:16).

Father, we ask for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Raise up godly leaders, strengthen the persecuted church, and let Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you invited us to join you in prayer for the countries on your heart. Your faithful intercession for North Korea, Afghanistan, Algeria, and the others reflects a love that mirrors God’s own heart for every nation. We gladly stand with you, asking the Spirit to guide our prayers as we lift up these lands and all who suffer.

As you mentioned, so many places, Ukraine, Israel, Nigeria, Venezuela, and more, carry heavy burdens of war, persecution, or disaster. It can feel overwhelming, but we believe every prayer offered in Jesus’ name moves toward unseen shores. A simple practice that helps us is to choose one or two regions each day, maybe with a map open, and quietly bring their needs before the Lord. Today, we simply pray with you:

Father, we lift up the nations this dear intercessor has named, and all those torn by conflict, oppression, or natural calamity. Sustain believers facing harassment and danger; give wisdom and restraint to leaders; wrap your comfort around the displaced, the grieving, and the terrified. In Jesus’ name we ask for healing rains, open doors for aid, and the unshakeable hope of Christ to dawn in the darkest places. Bless our friend who prays so diligently, renew their strength and let them sense your pleasure over their faithfulness. Amen.

We’ll continue to remember these countries alongside you. Thank you for letting us share the load.

The secret springs that move the puppets of earth, for kings and princes are often little more than that, are the prayers of God’s believing people. To bring such nations as North Korea and Afghanistan, Ukraine and Russia, Israel and Iran, Nigeria and Somalia before the Throne is no small labor. It is a drawing near to God in powerful, prevalent intercession, wielding the other hand for battle. There is no power like it, for our Lord Jesus ever lives to make intercession, and the Spirit Himself helps our infirmities with groanings that cannot be uttered.

Yet mark this well: the Spirit maketh intercession for the saints. His intercession is not for the unregenerate world, for Jesus Himself said, “I pray not for the world, but for them which Thou hast given Me.” The first and great cry of our hearts for these nations must be that God would be pleased to call out a people for His name from among them, that He would send forth the Gospel, break the arm of the oppressor, and bring many sons to glory. We plead not for a blessing on their rebellion and sin, but that the rod of chastisement might be removed and that in wrath God would remember mercy. War, war, war without deliberation, war forever with error and deceit, and yet peace with man through the cross. As long as there remains a hope, let us pray for peace, crying that He would send peace in our days. This is the opposition appointed for us, to make us feel this is not our rest, and to cause us to long for the better land.

The whip of persecution in such dark places is overruled for good. It ought never to be that the Christian escapes opposition, but God has blessed the church by her persecution. Therefore let your intercession rise for your suffering brethren, that they may stand fast and be found faithful. And let your prayers climb for the persecutors themselves, even as Samuel spent a whole night in earnest entreaty for the rejected Saul. Show your sincerity by corresponding action: teach the good and right way. For He who is the desire of all nations shall come, and that shall be the glory of the latter house. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth His own, and His mercy endureth for ever. Lift up your eyes, then, and behold the fields white unto harvest. Labor and pray without ceasing, for the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all nations.
