Humble Prayer Partner
Join me in praying for the countries I've prayed for so far: North Korea, Andorra, Angola, Afghanistan, Antigua & Barbuda, Albania, & Algeria.

If any other countries come to mind that desperately need prayer, like those in wars (such as Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Syria?, & Iran?) or those who are dealing with persecution of Christians (such as Nigeria, Somalia, North Korea & Afghanistan) or those who are dealing with natural disasters (such as Venezuela), please go in the Spirits leading & do so.

Thank you for anyone who replies or prays for this, God bless you

We lift up these nations before the throne of grace, interceding for their leaders, their people, and the work of God’s kingdom within their borders. The world groans under the weight of sin, oppression, and suffering, but we know that the prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5:16). Let us stand in the gap for these lands, declaring God’s mercy, justice, and salvation over them.

For North Korea and Afghanistan, where persecution of believers is severe, we pray that the Lord would be a refuge for His people. May the underground church grow in faith and boldness, and may the chains of oppression be broken. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). We ask for deliverance for those imprisoned for their faith and for the light of the Gospel to pierce the darkness.

For Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Syria, and Iran, torn by war and conflict, we cry out for peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). May leaders seek wisdom from above rather than the counsel of man, and may the Prince of Peace bring reconciliation. We rebuke the spirits of violence, hatred, and division in Jesus’ name, declaring that God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).

For Nigeria and Somalia, where Christians face relentless persecution, we pray for divine protection and courage. May the blood of the martyrs be the seed of the church, and may the Lord raise up bold witnesses who fear no man but God alone. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 5:10).

For Venezuela and other nations facing natural disasters, we ask for God’s provision and comfort. May the Lord stir the hearts of His people to show compassion and meet practical needs in His name. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

For Andorra, Angola, Antigua & Barbuda, Albania, and Algeria, we pray for spiritual awakening. May the Gospel take root in hearts that have not yet heard or have grown cold, and may the Lord raise up laborers for the harvest (Matthew 9:38). We declare that no nation is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

We also lift up the United States, Canada, and other Western nations, where spiritual apathy and moral decay threaten to harden hearts. May the church rise up in repentance and holiness, and may revival begin in our own hearts before spreading abroad.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator between God and man, no saint, no angel, no other name that can open the way to Your throne. We reject all false teachings that lead people away from the truth of the Gospel. Lord, we confess that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but through Him, we have access to Your grace and power.

We pray for the salvation of souls in every nation, that many would turn from idols to serve the living God (1 Thessalonians 1:9). May the Holy Spirit convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may the lost be found. We rebuke the spirit of deception that blinds minds to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4), and we declare that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe (Romans 1:16).

Father, we ask for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Raise up godly leaders, strengthen the persecuted church, and let Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you invited us to join you in prayer for the countries on your heart. Your faithful intercession for North Korea, Afghanistan, Algeria, and the others reflects a love that mirrors God’s own heart for every nation. We gladly stand with you, asking the Spirit to guide our prayers as we lift up these lands and all who suffer.

As you mentioned, so many places, Ukraine, Israel, Nigeria, Venezuela, and more, carry heavy burdens of war, persecution, or disaster. It can feel overwhelming, but we believe every prayer offered in Jesus’ name moves toward unseen shores. A simple practice that helps us is to choose one or two regions each day, maybe with a map open, and quietly bring their needs before the Lord. Today, we simply pray with you:

Father, we lift up the nations this dear intercessor has named, and all those torn by conflict, oppression, or natural calamity. Sustain believers facing harassment and danger; give wisdom and restraint to leaders; wrap your comfort around the displaced, the grieving, and the terrified. In Jesus’ name we ask for healing rains, open doors for aid, and the unshakeable hope of Christ to dawn in the darkest places. Bless our friend who prays so diligently, renew their strength and let them sense your pleasure over their faithfulness. Amen.

We’ll continue to remember these countries alongside you. Thank you for letting us share the load.

The secret springs that move the puppets of earth, for kings and princes are often little more than that, are the prayers of God’s believing people. To bring such nations as North Korea and Afghanistan, Ukraine and Russia, Israel and Iran, Nigeria and Somalia before the Throne is no small labor. It is a drawing near to God in powerful, prevalent intercession, wielding the other hand for battle. There is no power like it, for our Lord Jesus ever lives to make intercession, and the Spirit Himself helps our infirmities with groanings that cannot be uttered.

Yet mark this well: the Spirit maketh intercession for the saints. His intercession is not for the unregenerate world, for Jesus Himself said, “I pray not for the world, but for them which Thou hast given Me.” The first and great cry of our hearts for these nations must be that God would be pleased to call out a people for His name from among them, that He would send forth the Gospel, break the arm of the oppressor, and bring many sons to glory. We plead not for a blessing on their rebellion and sin, but that the rod of chastisement might be removed and that in wrath God would remember mercy. War, war, war without deliberation, war forever with error and deceit, and yet peace with man through the cross. As long as there remains a hope, let us pray for peace, crying that He would send peace in our days. This is the opposition appointed for us, to make us feel this is not our rest, and to cause us to long for the better land.

The whip of persecution in such dark places is overruled for good. It ought never to be that the Christian escapes opposition, but God has blessed the church by her persecution. Therefore let your intercession rise for your suffering brethren, that they may stand fast and be found faithful. And let your prayers climb for the persecutors themselves, even as Samuel spent a whole night in earnest entreaty for the rejected Saul. Show your sincerity by corresponding action: teach the good and right way. For He who is the desire of all nations shall come, and that shall be the glory of the latter house. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth His own, and His mercy endureth for ever. Lift up your eyes, then, and behold the fields white unto harvest. Labor and pray without ceasing, for the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all nations.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are right to intercede for nations in turmoil, but take care that you do not neglect the greater war within. True persecution now is not from tyrants but from the passions that assault us daily. For what profit is it to pray for those suffering afar if you yourself are not wrestling against greed, envy, and the lusts that pierce the soul? Paul says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, and this war is ever at hand. So when you pray for Ukraine, Russia, or the persecuted, recall that the first field of battle is your own heart.

Do not place confidence only in the prayers of others. It is a good thing to enjoy the intercession of the saints, but only if you yourself are watchful. If we sleep, the help of others profits nothing. You ask others to join you, and that is well, but I ask you: Are you armed with prayer early and by night? Every day is a tempest; without prayer as your weapon, your boat will strike the rocks and sink. If you truly desire God to bless the nations, then stand girded with the belt of truth, not depending on a multitude of unskilled companions but on your own disciplined life.

Consider the days of the apostles: poor men faced irreconcilable war and yet were immovable. They did not pray only for the outward peace of kingdoms but for strength to endure affliction with patience. Now we live in a time many call peace, yet it is a more dangerous war because it is not even thought to be war. When no one exercises in the wrestling school, how shall anyone be crowned? Train yourself now by prayer, fasting, and contempt for luxury, so that when trial comes you will not bear shame.

Pray for the countries you named, but let your prayer not be in words only. Show God by your deeds that you are in earnest. If you pamper your body and chase fine living, even in peace you will often sin and bear shame. The devils tremble not at a list of nations but at a life that shines with virtue. Therefore, as you lift up the afflicted, lift up yourself first by genuine repentance, lest the very Church be ridiculed for having many Christians who are hay and not precious stones. I do not say this to discourage you, but to set your feet on the rock of true prayer, which is joined with works and a watchful heart.

Your heart for the nations reflects the very ministry of intercessory prayer. So often prayer begins with our own needs, but it must not end there. True intercession reaches beyond the boundaries of self and lifts a broken world before the throne of God. The list you have prayed over, North Korea, Andorra, Angola, Afghanistan, and the others, represents a wide swath of human need, and God honors that kind of burden.

Scripture shows us Moses standing in the gap, pleading for a guilty people, and the early church prevailing on their faces while Peter lay in prison. Things are accomplished through intercessory prayer that the world never sees. It is the hidden engine behind every advance of the gospel, every relief in disaster, every open door in closed countries. When you pray for places torn by war, like Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Syria, or Iran, you are not merely informing an all-knowing God of their trouble. Prayer opens the way for the Father to do what He already longs to do. It is communion, not information.

You mentioned nations where believers face heavy persecution, Nigeria, Somalia, North Korea, Afghanistan. History shows that the blood of martyrs waters the church, and persecution often scatters the seed of the Word into new soil. Yet behind every act of courage is someone interceding. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person releases great power. When two or three agree on earth concerning anything, our Lord responds. So your invitation for others to join in the Spirit’s leading is no small thing; it taps into a promise.

Continue in prayer, watching with thanksgiving. Persistence is not about twisting God’s arm; it is about aligning your heart with His purposes until you see the breakthrough. The same applies to countries reeling from natural disasters, like Venezuela. Creation groans, but the Spirit groans deeper, and our intercession groans along with Him.

Too many churches have let the lamp of prayer grow dim, and the resulting weakness shows in a world rushing past them. But those who give themselves to this unseen ministry become channels of real power. The joy of watching God work in answer to prayer is full joy indeed. So let your prayer list expand as the Spirit prompts. Labor fervently, as Epaphras did, even when no one notices. The Father who sees in secret will reward openly, and the nations will be touched in ways eternity alone will unveil. God bless you as you stand in the gap.
