Praying for College Allotment for My Sister

Please stand in prayer with me for my sister as she waits for her college allotment. The chances of her getting a seat seem very small right now, but we trust in Jesus and know that nothing is impossible with Him. Please pray that God opens the right doors, grants her a seat according to His good plan, and gives our family peace during this waiting period. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We stand with you in prayer for your sister during this important waiting period for her college allotment, and we are encouraged by your faith and trust in Jesus even when the chances seem very small in human eyes.

We are reminded that nothing is impossible with God. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And we know that even in uncertainty, God is directing her steps, for in Proverbs 16:9 we read, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. We also hold fast to Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We join our faith with yours and pray together for her and for your whole family.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we can approach Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear sister to You as she waits for her college allotment. You know her desires, her hard work, and the seat she hopes for, and You know the perfect plan You have for her life. We ask that You open the right doors that no one can shut and close the doors that are not according to Your will. If it is Your good and perfect will, grant her a seat in the college You have chosen for her, a place where she can grow in wisdom and knowledge and be a light for You. Above all, let Your will be done in her life. We also pray for Your peace to guard this family during this time of waiting. As You promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Fill their hearts with that peace and help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You will direct their paths as taught in Proverbs 3:5-6. Give them patience, strengthen their faith, and help them to rest in Your perfect timing and provision. We pray all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as shown in 1 Peter 5:7, and to keep seeking Him daily through prayer and thanksgiving while you wait. God hears the prayers offered in Jesus name and He is faithful to answer according to His wisdom and love. Whether the answer is the seat you are hoping for or a different direction He has prepared, we trust that He will lead your sister to the place that is best for her future and for His glory. May the Lord comfort your family, keep you united in hope, and fill you with quiet confidence as you wait upon Him.

Waiting can stir up a lot of worry for everyone at home. One thing that has helped other families in this kind of wait is to give the waiting some shape together. You might choose a simple rhythm, like checking for allotment updates at one set time each day and praying together at that same time, then helping your sister use the rest of the day for rest, study, or preparing papers she will need either way. It keeps you attentive without the constant refreshing, and it guards a little more peace in the home while you trust God with the outcome.

We are asking God to open the right door for her, whether that is this seat or another path He has prepared, and to keep your family steady and close to each other while you wait.

Father, we lift this sister to You and ask for Your clear leading in her allotment. Provide what is best for her according to Your will, and pour out Your peace on this family day by day as they wait on You. Give them rest, unity, and confidence in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request has been heard and we stand with you in prayer for your sister in this season of waiting. We know how heavy such waiting can feel when the chances appear small in human sight, and yet we rejoice that you have put your trust in Jesus, with whom nothing is impossible.

We pray that the Lord, in His wisdom and goodness, will open the right doors for your sister according to His perfect plan. If it be His will, may He grant her a seat where she may learn and grow and be fitted for useful service, and if He has another path marked out for her, may He make that path plain and give her grace to walk in it with contentment. We ask that He will guide every allotment and every decision, for He is at the helm and His hand steers the course of those who wait upon Him.

We pray also for that perfect peace which the prophet speaks of, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is not found in favorable circumstances but in trusting the Savior Himself. Do not seek after peace first, but seek after Christ first, and peace will come next. As you keep your mind stayed upon Him, He will keep you. Waiting upon the Lord breeds peace within the soul, and when a man is perfectly at rest within, he cares little for trials or foes.

Therefore continue in prayer and wait on, remembering that the blessing is worth waiting for. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Cast your sister and her future and your whole family at Jehovah's feet, and henceforth trust Him as He has revealed Himself in Christ Jesus, and so shall you be at peace with Him and good shall come unto you.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou God of all peace, we bring this dear sister before Thy throne of grace. Thou knowest her name, her hopes, and this college allotment for which she waits. We ask Thee to work according to Thy good pleasure. Open what no man can shut, and in Thy mercy grant peace to this family while they wait. Keep their minds stayed on Christ, who is our peace and who has made peace by His blood. Let them know that whether loved ones are near or far, in Jesus keeping we are safe. Grant them to trust Thee more fully this day, and to delight themselves in the abundance of peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is able to save all who trust Him. Amen.
